I'm not excepting Morocco to change their attitude towards the contest that they had for the past 35 years. I would be positively surprised though, but I think the fact that they will neither participate this year nor in the near future is all too obvious. The official confirmation would be just for the record.

Is it really worth having a Morocco thread each year? Realistically, is there any hope of Morocco ever taking part again? They haven't taken part from 1981 to 2015, so would they really want to enter in 2016 or subsequent years?
More to the point, are there any local laws / regulations preventing Morocco from entering when Israel are also in, e.g. are Moroccan TV channels allowed to show Israeli participation in international events e.g. ESC, FIFA World Cup, Olympics, etc.?

Since Morocco is a former entrant, it is compulsory to have it but you should ask that question with Lichtenstein thread
On the bright side, Morocco did send a delegation to Vienna for the 2015 ESC.
