I remember the outcry of like one person when Alina Pash broke the rules, thinking that the entering of Crimea through Russia is irrelevant for a song contest - it could very well be relevant to Ukraine though, especially considering what's happening to them right now (although the invasion started 2 days after Vidbir). It's a completely different reason to be antsy about - some people were also dumbfounded at the Aidan disqualification from MESC for breaking MESC's rule too - but it's a reason nonetheless; for some songs there's more outcry than for others.I feel had NeonoeN's song been much more well received (or received at all even) by the fans then they would have let this slide. The EBU certainly would have I think seeing as they allowed Jamala to enter and then win the contest with 1944 despite her having performed it at a concert 4 months prior to the eligibility window.
To sum up Vladana is basically saying ITS UNNNFORGIVABLLLLLEEEEESerbo-Croat speakers can onfirm the accurate translation but the main organizer of Montesong and host Vladana has resigned from RTCG and doesn't wan't to be involved with the NF anymore.
Me neither --- and I usually I am a Rock-Metal-lover! But this all could have been avoided if the band had read thru the rules beforehand.Well, I absolutely don’t feel sad about this song loss.
It's a pity that Vladana doesn't want to take care of Montesong anymore. I thought that she was deeply interested in keeping Montenegro in Eurovision.
Instead of improving things for future editions she decided to throw in the towel.
You have now got me imagining Vladana pulling an Angelina Mango and singing Breathe with an acoustic guitar outside the RTCG HQ.To sum up Vladana is basically saying ITS UNNNFORGIVABLLLLLEEEEE
Maybe that's true, but maybe she also saw some stuff backstage or in the RTCG headquarters that made her decide she wants nothing to do with that broadcaster anymore, it's quite hard to tell at the moment so I don't think we can judge it that quickly
Regarding the questions that Vladana raised with the public, we emphasise that the festival was organised transparently and with the support of the Association of Entertainers, which covered the majority of the costs. It is also important to emphasise that the script and the selection of the presenter were not within the competence of RTCG.
Wait – so that means the entire country withdrews? That would be a very unfortunate turn of events and a slap in the face for everyone who participated in Montevizija.Sad outcome for the team behind the entry and the future of RTCG selection. Montenegro will be missed deeply next year.
