I gave it a :6:. They remind me of Circus Mircus for some reasons, and I liked Circus Mircus since the first second. So it's only obvious I'm more generous than lot of other people in this forum with my ranking.

It was so cruel for the artists to announce all "0 points" and expect the artists to applaud the outcome.

One of the worst NF voting procedures in recent history, for sure xD

Anyway, Clickbait is very underwhelming and clearly not my cup of tea but I've heard worse in Eurovision.
:2: for now.

A pity I couldn't kick off this season with :10:
Brayak ans Nina were so close :(

Relistened to it again.

I think my earlier judgement of :2: was too harsh. It's more of a :4: rly - like the fundamental problem with "Clickbait" is that it's dressed up like "funny novelty" when it's not particularly funny. It barely counts as joke and it's already fucking stale. It's boring.

The composition itself? It's aight. Nothing groundbreaking but acceptable as semi filler.

It's not qualifying anyway, so getting worked up about it is pointless.

According to Wiwibloggs, the song will get a revamp and some English lyrics so that jury members will be able to pronounce the song even more easily ;)

Why do they always feel the need to add English when revamping a song ? Seriously I mean guys you never qualified with songs in English or that had parts in English

TAKE THE GODDARN HINT

(you probably won't qualify even by keeping this in Montenegrin but come on we have enough songs with English in them in ESC)

EBU has overlooked similar situations in recent years and allowed songs that weren't official releases to compete. In fact, one such entry even went on to win its year. It would be hypocritical for the EBU to single out Montenegro for this now.

June 10th 2023, this wouldn't even be eligible for Eurovision 2024 lol (1:03 in)

It clearly is not a big issue for "Eurovision" since the song wasn't officially released. The EBU will greenlight the entry, for sure.
The question is if Montenegro's broadcaster allows it? I mean, what a lousy start to kick off a new national final if they have to bend the rules straight from the beginning (the first edition?).
The rules clearly state that the song shouldn't have been released or performed before 1st September 2024.

RTCG released 8 points as part of their terms of competition for Montesong.
"Clickbait" shouldn't have been allowed to compete at all since the song wasn't eligible since the beginning. The broadcaster (unlike the EBU) didn't allow songs to be performed before the 1st September:

Terms of the competition:

Type of music: The competition is open to new compositions of fun and popular music that have not been published and performed in whole or in parts before September 1, 2024.

Honestly, if RTCG wants to keep Montesong alive, they need to disqualify "Clickbait".
What's the point of trying to establish a festival/national final if they have to already bend the rules/break them.

Other acts will do the same or will not submit anything in future editions. The rules were clear and transparent to everyone involved.
