Well, I gave it a because I am certain that there will be worser songs this year. But I feel I might downgrade it in the next months. I wouldn't listen to the song willingly.

Since I'm quite worried that autotune and pitch correction are getting more and more common at Eurovision, I wasn't pleased to see the first release of an 2025 entry being 100 percent sing-back.

In any case, it's an attempt do something like Estonia this year, and then perhaps the vocal performance doesn't count that much.

I must admit I was actually singing along a little bit on this one. Still, the entry as a whole is too primitive - both musically and visually -, and maybe my usual 4 is being too kind.

Well, here we have the very first entry for Basel, "Clickbait" by NeonoeN for .

I don´t wanna write all that much to be honest because there´s absolutely nothing pleasant about it. The melody is grating, don´t like the singers voice at all and the chorus which is basically only an angry "clickbait" is also very irritating.

All in all this is a very bad start in the season for me. I give , only because I could listen to it somehow and since I didn´t want to start the season with a . It´ll be once again an uphill climb for the country to reach the grand final but at least they´ll save a bit money for accomodations since is pretty expensive.

It definitely didn't make it in the first part of my list when I first heard the entries and it didn't grow on me since then. I find it quite 'aggressive', which is hypocritical of me considering what I usually listen to, but the melody is almost non-existent, their voices aren't pleasant and it isn't even that catchy.
I give it a because it is not up to the level it makes me want to hurl in a corner, but even if I feel generous at a later stage it won't go past 4.

The chorus is annoyingly repetitive and the verses in-between are forgettable. The song has an overall nice beat, but that is the best I can say about it. for the moment, probably even less later on in the season.

Very bad NF, overall, and the winning song is.......just as atrocious.

As happy as I am for their return, everything was very amateur-ish. The hosts were not good, the jokes were lame...so many mistakes in the live show in general, one member of the jury (Hari) votes from his bedroom, another member of the jury (Tijana Bogićević) makes a mistake while voting, the hosts bring the artists to the stage to tell them that they got 0 points....and many more things. I was laughing on many occasions, but it was more sad than anything else.

Nina was the best package last night. Even though the song still needed a boost, there was material there and it could've been a very decent entry in the end.

Baryak were also great and even Isak could've been a worthy winner (I didn't really like the song before but it was catchy).

As for the winners themselves........as I said, atrociously bad. I like many quirky songs myself, even joke acts....but this is below every acceptable level. Total cringe, from the lyrics to stage appearance. This is quite possibly the weakest entry ever as well and it is a definite NQ, we can already conclude.

Alright, last year it was France who chose their entry in November... to get over the obvious, it's very reminiscent of Baby Lasagna and also similar to Sudden Lights, Joker Out, The Roop and a dozen other East European rock bands we've seen in the last two decades.

So at first i think it's quite weak, then it gets better, sort of. Obviously, the stage performance is very unpolished, they barely face the camera, it's way too dark and it needs a better gimmick, either visual or choreographic, than the singer randomly turning different directions while flares go off in front of them. The "cage" of poles and the hammer and whatever else is there, are pointless to me.

Still, i'm thinking this has SOME potential... but then, Montenegro has only qualified two times, both with very conservative Yugo-pop, and done really poorly when they've sent anything out of the ordinary, so the chance for final is quite little, it seems. But then, this COULD be the entry to break their trend...

I think they should seriously consider doing this in English, though. The lyrics are really good and original, i think it could get a better response if they did.

It's always funny to me how ESC Looren can give enough 10 or 12 to fill a sea every freaking year.

On a side note, Clickbait might be a weird hybrid, but there's no way I consider it a rock song.
