Apart from Reghina Alexandrina, they robbed all songs (partly) performed in Romanian and went for the really bad English tracks?!

I'm quite shocked, tbh Oo

I guess, I will be rooting for Natalia Barbu now - the other tracks are quite tragic.

Neither of Oliv Sky or valleria's songs made it. Really surprised Carnaval is out. Rise Up or Spune-mi not so much. This is two horse race between Natalia and Valeria in my opinion.

Oleg Spînu was disqualified for using pre-recorded vocals.

I'm happy with this list...except for Nicoleta and also they chose the wrong Victor.

Natalia seems to be the favorite. I guess she's fine, but i miss the spark so i'll focus my energy mainly on Valeria and Catalina.

Her 2007 entry is fantastic. It was one of the songs i kept replaying over and over agian on my sony erricsson during the time i was developing into a superfan i am today.

I listened to all these 11 auditions and I was shocked how bad these are ... I don't want to talk about the vocal qualities ... cause they are low. And there's not a song that really stands out. Can't really decide, but probably

But none of these songs will make it to the Final in May.

This just became the must watch national final of the season. Even by Moldova's usual (iconic) standards, I'm in shock. By the time it got to Light Up, I couldn't breathe. @Ana Raquel get here quick!

Never judge or write off based off auditions. I think a few of them of some potential if staged right. In The Middle the top rated jury song today is not one of them though.

"Anti-Princess" has last place in the semi final written on it if you ask me. I fail to see how some fans (also on FB) think would be qualifying with tha song.

Maybe they're hearing a revamp about to happen?

But yeah, auditions =/= Moldova's final etr. They usually step up their game massively.

Tha said, I'm.utterly sad they killed of "Carnaval" which could have been another surprising televoting magnet in May... I just think that generic pop isn't something Moldova should pursue...a pity the jury thought otherwise

I can envision "Anti-Princess" as a follow up to "Sugar". Buf ofc Moldova's staging department needs a certain budget.

And I'm all for songs like Carnival to represent Moldova, but i don't think it was good enough. I do understand your sadness because the robbery of Lume still hurts and it's been 5 years.

Maybe I need to listen to the studio version because the audition of Anti-Princess crashed all my expectations.

Can we all just take a moment of silence and think of the level of delusion which impacted the jury's decision that this line-up/audition was too brilliant and competitive that they had to breach the rules and let 11 instead of the originally planned 10 acts advance to the final!?

I mean, what did they consume to really think that 10 qualifiers wouldn't be enough xD
