DPSTP submitted his song to Vidbir and didn't get into the longlist (the song is longer than 3 minutes). So he invited Moldovan backing vocalist to meet nationality rule of Moldovan NF. Yulia will be there on stage as well.

Aliona on her IG: Hello dears! I want to hug all of you who sent messages, saddened by the withdrawal of our duet with Milla, from the Eurovision competition. We stay close to you, but with another "do to list" for 2024! We will release the song "Obosit" on radio stations and streaming platforms so that you can listen to it on repeat. Thank you for being with us! We love you!

The only chance for Moldova to even get TOP 5 at Eurovision 2024, this incredible production is like a dream, I've been listening to it on repeat for ten hours

INCREDIBILE SONG

Misja Eurowizja did their Top 32, and the winner is "Tudorel" by Bumbac Tudor. I agree with them that Moldova should send a unique cheerful song to Malmö.

And here is the song.

I can totally understand why Vidbir producers didn't include "Rise Up".
It's a very decent track but it leaves room for improvement. I was bored because of the arrangement, tbh...but I have to admit that EDM has never been my cup of tea anyway.

I haven't listened to all of the songs but "Anti-Princess" sounds like something Moldova would be really able to take and run with in terms of staging. It feels like it would really work with Moldova's strengths at Eurovision.

I barely followed Moldova last year, but this is actually kind of a nice selection. I've got my heart set on Oliv Sky's "Another Universe," though. It may be my favorite or at least second-favorite song this year. It's so hypnotic and filled with songwriterly touches; it's the kind of song where the structure reflects the content. She's trying to reach escape velocity from a relationship, but keeps being pulled back by the memories of hopes and dreams that no longer fit-- while the song itself keeps getting pulled back into the same pattern. That sounds repetitive, but there's so much of interest going on: the rat-tat-tat-tat of the drum, the subtle changes to the "couldn't even try" line, the wonderful bridge, the bluesy guitar. Maybe it's expecting too much for an artist whose Youtube views hover around the 100 mark to pull this off, but this is some next-level stuff.

Alesia Michelle's video reacting to the Moldovan songs got a takedown strike from the married to twins guy.

Talk about absolute pettiness.

tbh, she's the only one who I can see qualify. all others will be certain nq-s...

which is good because Moldova needs to start internally selecting its artists.

Shes not the only one, another (forgot his name) got a strike from the same guy. Sadly he already had 2 so his channel got shut down because of it.

It was Alan Torres - I was quite shocked that his accounts had been taken down because of that NF-participant but his main profile is back again (after it got deleted Oo)
He got like 25,000+ followers.
