It might be slightly late for a revamp, but I don't think it's impossible, is it? We've had a bunch of songs in recent years that were released later than this and ended up getting revamps - see X My Heart (revealed on March 4), Verona (also chosen on March 4), This Is Love (March 6) and even the iconic I Didn't Know (March 9, getting revamped into a different genre altogether).

I could be misunderstanding things but I think the EBU submission deadline is just to lock in the artist + song name, lyrics and general melody, or something like that; tweaks to the instrumentation can come for a while after, and sometimes those sorts of revamps aren't even revealed until mid-April. So we can hope.

Have just watched the live performance..this is not bad at all!
I love the vocal tone..and composition is uplifting..it has an anthemic sound with drama..
I feel some pain in her voice towards the end and battle..

I can see this shining on ESC stage with much better sound..

Moldova is a small country and not the richest, so I think these numbers look realistic.

Oh dear, I've thought more about this entry (garbage beyond belief, Belarus would be embarrassed etc.) and Moldova's selection process (seriously what is the point in throwing out perfectly good songs in favour of Che-MD if they're going to be destroyed year after year after year by the juries in the final anyway?) and now I've wound myself up and want them to withdraw

I don't think I'm into this. The vocals are very grating and the song itself is what we've heard before at Eurovision so many times before but done worse. Maybe a revamp could save it somewhat if they've got the time. At the moment I find it a struggle to get through.

What a strange turn of taste for Moldova. After two high placements in a row, with very funny and clever songs, they now send "Stay" which is rather an established music genre.

looking at the composers' of Stay's back catalogue it seems like the majority of their output is songs that die in Lithuanian semis so it makes sense
