I had a feeling that this might be the case. Watch now as all the conspiracy theories come in that the delegation paid the official Eurovision channel off to feature an understated moment of the performance to lower expectations so that when the actual semi comes around, everyone's mind is blown.
But then, wouldn't the bridge supposed to be the main moment of the performance?
I don't think the dance break will be that impressive (so far) since the only thing I see is a big hot pink screen. But yet again, we haven't seen the camerawork.

This is a very good shot of the bodysuit. It's not the dress that peeves me, it's that hot pink color.

I really dislike the color and the fabric looks cheap.
Also people keep on criticising Destiny, but the dancer's bodysuits looks much worse, at least Destiny has the fringes to class it up, but the dancers look like they came directly from aerobics class.

I was disappointed by what I saw in the rehearsals. The clothing and staging is not at what I expected. I've dropped it from number two to number five in my rankings.

Reminder to refrain from using language that talks about people's physical appearance in an insulting way.
It's perfectly fine to not like an artist's costume, but there's no need to tie that criticism to their weight or body shape.

Not talking about the song or the performance, just about the color of these outfits. What prevented Destiny from using black and grey shades with a golden crown/jewel around her neck instead of just... coming across as a bit cheap and old-fashioned? 
I wonder why they just didn't keep the outfit from the video. That was looking fantastic (even though I don't like the song). But as pointed out above, the color of the dress (black or blue would have been better) messes things up and it does look just cheap. I hope they might fix it.
pink only looks good on senhit anyway xIt looks extremely cheap and unflattering. Anything from the video would be better and fit perfectly.

I really doubt that they have backup clothes for Destiny and/or the dancers to wear and I suppose that the color of the clothes will relate to the images in the led screens

She sounds like people were criticising some hot outfit that wouldn't fit on her due to body shaming. Instead, it is the outfit itself that is hideous. She could feel comfortable with the same model outfit in a more fashionable way, and no one would care.
Playing the victim by twisting the point, kind of irritating.

A lot of the comments have been fatshaming but the majority are just saying the outfit does not look nice. As if, it's an ugly piece of fabric that would not look good on a wire hanger. This approach of accusing every single person that doesn't like a piece of clothing as a bigot is counterproductive and does not help advance body positivity.
I'm irritated that small thing are turned into big systemic issues. Yes there are assholes talking shit about her weight. The outfit is still not pretty. She wore so many better looks in the video why the pink nightmare?

I think we shouldn't shoot Destiny for posting how she feels. Who knows she did get tonnes of comments about her weight/body shape for donning the outfit from all forms of social media and privately?
Yes, you guys can argue that maybe majority of the comments are mostly on the outfit choice not her body shape, but sometimes the vocal minority comments can still affect. You just need one or two nasty comments to make you feel shit.

Destiny isn't playing the victim. She IS being the victim. Wearing an outfit that is considered hideous by many is not an excuse for being fatphobic to her.
You all saying she is "playing the victim" just proves her tweet. You can say that the majority is about the outfit etc etc etc but if the oppressive comments exist, whether it is from the majority or not, a discussion is worth being started.
Fatphobic comments hurt. They can trigger many disorders. Don't banalize their negative impact on someone, whether it is directly (impact on Destiny) or indirectly (on any fat eurovision fan who is gonna read hateful comments about fat people).
