i have a feeling it has something to do with malta prob not able to afford both jesc and esc if they won the esc so maybe sent a weaker song but its prob just me thinking thisHello Malta???
Will you ever choose the right song? I don't get how random is Maltese NF every year.
Nothing against this song. It's quite nice and interesting and I'll give it 6 points, but guys, you had "One last ride". That would've probably been the best Maltese song ever and it's a top-5 song indeed. How can you waste this chance?

I imagine the Maltese people are riding on a high after Gianluca's success last year. For the next few years now the Maltese will probably give us laid back little guitar folk songs. I suppose it beats their Disney ballad fetish though
I think Firelight might do quite well actually.
Hmmm it seems televoters in Malta have changes fetish, "Hypnotica" won televoting!

I don't like "Coming Home" but I've never liked "One last ride".
TBH, I don't care what Malta sends. I don't like their songs but they always make it to the final.
They didn't qualify in 2007, 2008, 2010 & 2011..........they qualified in 2004, 2009, 2012 & 2013.
So the comment about always qualifying is untrue.
Well, I think this will easily qualify unless every single country in semi 2 starts to pick masterpieces and that's not a likely scenario
But I think this is going nowhere in the final. A safe song that can't flop, but can't really succeed either.
Not a big fan of guitar folk happy songs, but I applaude this if we get rid of the typical Maltese ESC cheese
I too am not usually a fan of these types of contemporary western guitar folk, especially of the happy kind
I think the song feels quite authentic though. As authentic as a band at Eurovision can be. Bands always have to sell out at Eurovision and throw their dignity into the bin somewhat due to the fact they have to fake playing their instruments.
I think the song could easily make the top 15. This isn't shaping up to be a great year. I don't think any of us predicted Gianluca's success last year so we should watch out for Firelight.
