Song 7: Chaild – "Hold On"
This is what I'd call a power ballad; I quite liked the preview video, and in my opinion, Chaild sang well tonight. The simulated blue and purple neon effects, on the background screen and stage floor suited this style of song nicely, but I have a feeling this sounds like something out of the 1980s or 1990s, and could be seen as dated.

there's a lot of potential in this one. I didn't care for the outfits and staging, it just made no sense. I also found the backtrack in the chorus quite distracting. But, as I said, I did like it overall and wouldn't mind it winning!

"Drowning in the Rain", definitely an Elsie Bay composition without the staging. But clearly, best option for Luxembourg this year (waiting for Chaild and Tali to change my mind)

OK, maybe Tali. The switch to English is unnecessary, but the live performance is definitely more convincing.
