Tuk tuk tuk
naktį į širdį pasibeldžia
ilgesio pilna
atminimų lydima
dvasia

Tu, tai tu, tai tu
seniai matytas veide
Ko juokies lyg klounas
iš mano spindinčių akių?

Sukasi ratu galvoje momentai
bėga bėga ten, kur ir tu
Milijonas rožių lyg sentimentai
skęsta jūroje debesų

Ah…

Ošia jūra nerami
man ašaros akyse
Viskas - jis nebesugrįš niekada
jis atplaukė juoda puta

Pamenu, kaip stoviu Nidos kopų vidury
Ir žuvėdrai moju
toli, toli…

Sukasi ratu galvoje momentai
bėga bėga ten, kur ir Tu
Milijonas rožių lyg sentimentai
skęsta jūroje debesų

Sukasi ratu galvoje momentai
bėga bėga ten, kur ir Tu
Milijonas rožių lyg sentimentai
skęsta jūroje debesų

Thanks! - The jury score for Lolita Zero is impressive.

Personally, I think that Gebrasy has the better song - I´d definitely still play it after Eurovision as well... Lolita Zero´s performance was "outta space" though - I absolutely loved it - especially the last part is really effective.

Why impressive?
It was only the 3rd with jury yesterday, it won televoting..

Lolita almost doubled her jury votes compared to her amount of points from the heat DESPITE facing (arguably) a tougher competition in the semi.

Well okay, that yes, maybe she stole the Hammer of Thor...

Not following this selection very closely this year, but I feel Ruta Loop would be the wisest choice for another good result for Lithuania in the actual contest. Shame she is not a frontrunner...

I haven't followed this year's NF season very closely thanks to my new job. Barely had the time to do catch up.
Not going to lie, it seems like the Lithuania's NF is pretty lackluster. Too bad Gebrasy couldn't come up something better than his entry from last year. The song is alright, but doesn't seem to have the potential his last year's entry had.
I have tried to catch a few hot favourites' performances and they are just alright.

How was it tougher competition?
Just a general thought of mine because in a semi only qualifiers from the preceding heats compete with each other.

Also, Lolita Zera was only 5th in heat 3.
Lolita received 27 pts in the heat whereas "Fantasy Eyes" got 23 and thus, both had only been 4 points apart.
Both entries competed in semi 1 again. Whilst "Fantasy Eyes" remained stable (receiving 24 pts from the juries - failing to qualify), "I'm Not Your Mother" suddenly almost doubled its points: 42.

You can also compare Lolita's points to Gebrasy since he also competed in heat 3.
Gebrasy remained stable (40 in heat 3 and 46 pts in semi 1). Lolita clearly was the biggest winner in terms of receiving jury points (compared to the other qualifiers from heat 3).

"I'm Not Your Mother' also surpassed one of the jury winners and the third place from heat 1.

That is why I'm afraid, I like it, but I clearly want Monika LIU in Turin!

I have finally taken a listen to all the songs from this year's NF (which are on Spotify), so I am missing a few. Not the strongest NF, but there are some pretty decent songs.

The ones that I took a liking to are (not in any particular order):
  • Gebrasy - Prefer his last year's entry so much more. But his this year's entry is still a good song. Grew on me. But I think it's chanceless to win.
  • Moosu X - The studio version is so good. However, the 'live' version is OK. He struggled on the big notes. But the staging suits the song pretty well.
  • Titas and Benas - Miles better than their last year's entry. Gebrasy wrote their entry too. Think it's the most contemporary song from the NF.
  • Monika Liu - I can see why her song is the hot favourite. The song got the classic quality to it. And I thought it has its place on the Turin stage.
  • Gintarė Korsakaitė - It's actually one of the catchiest songs in this year's NF, give me the early 2000s girlie pop sound. Quite a earworm.
  • Voldemars Petersons and the Break Hearters - I thought it is actually pretty good and catchy. But the staging is such a big no.
Special mentions:
  • Queens of Roses - Their song is pretty shite (the lyric part), but after watching the 'live' performance, their vocals are so good. The girls harmonize really well.
  • Lolita Zero - Drag culture is not my thing and the song is actually pretty monotonous. But there is something quite hypnotic about the song.
