I listened though the songs that are left in the running and as always, Lithuania is filled with songs that just feels out of place and also lacking something in each. The best two though are Monika Marijas two ones.

I can't decide which of them I like better. "Light On" is stronger instrumentally and keeps me "awake" the whole way through, but during the last minute I get so sick of hearing "Keep the light on for me" that I want to bang my head into the wall. Then is "Criminal" much more better lyrically, but there the problem is that the melody is very standard 1A in the Eurovision-ballad genre, which makes it lack a little power.

I think I prefer "Criminal" though, but it is narrowly. Watch now both her songs in the final, cancelling each other and some other song grabs the win. :lol:

I really liked "Criminal"... But somehow my love for it died a bit..
Her other song is not good for me..
I think I go for "Running with lions" now..

So "Criminal" is gone, MM decided to go with "Light On". Wise choice I'd say. Not necessary about the picking the song, but overall. It'll be easier to prepare better for final with one act, songs won't cancel each other out. Now the only one question remains to me - will "Run with the lions" be able to give it a fight. Can't see other contenders bein' close

I ask myself whether the judges will place her deadlast in order to prevent the worst from happening. I think its a wise choice, and I am one of the only ones really prefering Light On in general. I think its just better. :lol:

She basically said that she hoped that a clear favorite of the two would emerge but it didn't happen and so she needs to make the decision herself. She directly asked her fans not to vote for Criminal and said that she'd be really grateful to the jury if they placed her last :lol:

to clarify: she wants to win and realises that the votes in the final would split between her 2 songs. She's not withdrawing because look at what happened to Sasha lol.

Ok thanks for this. Its a bit of an unfortunate situation for her that I guess could backfire but its a mess nevertheless. Wasn't Light On a wildcard to begin with and only Criminal in competition? Oh dear. :lol:

If you ask for it and not offer anything in exchange, it's fine.

Gabrielė's stepdad's company is not that popular anyways so I can't see anyone who'd have taken the offer up though :confused:

Shoot. Jurijus has it in the bag. Just to conclude the whole horrible experience this ESC is bringing to us. Monika's votes will be splitted and she will for sure be second and third. Awful.

It's all up to jury now as it seems. They gives MM "Light On" 12, Jurijus - 10, people will give Jurijus 12 and "Light On" 10pts and "Light On" wins as jury voting has upper hand. I think such scenario is the most realistic
