I really don't think he is homophobic, never seen anything like that in his talking and so on, but I think it is normal to feel offended, when you say that you are not gay, but people keep telling you that and try to find some prove for it.
if you want examples, ok, so let's say you telling everybody that you are gay, it's not a secret for you, and it's also normal, you are proud for who you are as a person, cos sexual orientation is a big part for everybody. And let's say - nobody believes you ,everybody is telling, no you are not gay, you definitely lying, we know, if you would get drunk - you definitely would go with a girl, it means nothing you living with a boy.
I think it would be irritating for both sides, for gays and lesbians if people would tell them, no, you aren't, you just don't know who you are, or you just lying, and for straight people that would be irritating as well. and it's perfectly normal reaction in my opinion.
nothing homophobic in it.
see, what happens. gay can tell he is gay, proudly, and that is not seeing as an offence to hetero people, right?
so how come when a straight boy or girl says they are straight and NOTHING MORE, it is seen as an offence for gays? where is the logic?
I understand that earlier it was a really harsh and hard time for gays and lesbians, they were told rude things, but here I personally think you are overreacting.
for example I have a gay friend, and I am very happy that he is living with his personality and doesn't pretend he is straight, but I'm not telling him - you know you are lying, I think you are straight for sure, cos I remember how you've tried to be friends with girls back in school - how do you think he would react? I think pretty the same as Donny. And that wouldn't mean that he hates straight people or something like that.
See, there is even no word suitable, well, let's call it "heterophobic"
p. s. I know I have made an ethic violation when told knowing nothing that possibly Donny is looking so sweet boy cos he wants to be liked by straight guys and girls and by gays - but these were MY WORDS and FANTASIES, not his. And actually I can't know for sure what gays would like to see, so... I was a fool to speak about such things - sorry for that.
but still I think he is not homophobic, it's a pity it sounded like that. As I said earlier, I think it's normal to want that people would accept you as you are, doesn't matter, you are straight, or gay. And it's not an offensive thing.
