???? They would have to stage this in such a way that the song itself strangely disappeared for that to happen... I cant see this doing well. Even though Lithuania have some strange ways of sneaking into the final.
Do you like fire eaters? It is what I advised Donny to become to stand out for good.
That way, he could literally set the stage on fire for sure.

When I read Donny Montell I expected another boring toilet break song like "Love is blind" but this song is surprsingly refreshing for Lithuania (who use to bore me to death in ESC). Nice chorus

Months of shows and they end up with... this. Sigh. I probably shouldn't be complaining, since it's not like I preferred any other song from the NF, but... I don't know, I just feel like Lithuania could actually send something good if only they spent half as much time writing the songs as they did on broadcasting their 617 heats each year. I mean, it's a competent entry - well-crafted, catchy, builds well - but it's just so empty and soulless that I have a hard time getting excited for it. I'll give it 5 points for now, because I'm feeling nice and I'm still deflated after Sweden's choice.
I think I'll just go and place this next to Ireland now in my 'it succeeds at what it tries to do but that doesn't mean anything when you set your sights so low' pile of mediocrity.

Lithuania chose wisely! They had very great songs in their selection that got eliminated the past weeks. Catrinah and Egle especially! And Donny had the only good song left 12 points! Love it!

Just saying... and the song title tells a lot about what to expect already tbh.Some other foreign composers brought more interesting (and inspiring) tunes in the overall lineup imo :?
It's not a disaster, but it's incredibly vanilla. And we were entitled to expect better from a 10-show national selection process.

The song is quite good, miles better than his unbearable 2012 entry, but his live performance is VERY weak. He better fixes that to avoid unpleasant surprises, because there are many countries that really want to qualify this year. 8 points.

Good, but by the numbers. If anything elevates this song, is that Donny is actually a very likeable guy that has a presence. 7 points, maybe 8 with a right staging.

Before the final he said that if he'd win the show, his performance would be miles better in Sweden, cause in that LT studio is simply impossible to realize all the ideas. He has a point here, we'll see what he and his producers will prepare in May

Indeed. I remember few years back we played basketball game against his team, he looked so childish without all the make-up and etc. Till that I really thought that he is in his teen years, and it was kinda shocking to know later that he is in his mid 20s, is about to get married and etc

He has a pleasent voice and first minute or so was quite listenable, but then it got just noisy and messy. I forgot the melody just seconds after listening to it. 3 points for now.
