since the semi things have changed (a little bit) and yes hollow is not really a good song - solid yes but in my opinium also not better than sudden lights last year - so latvia should better take the risky option with kur? - the song + staging like in the semi is a piece of music art - people in malmö will feel that,especially the younger people i'm sure.
but of course dons lives from his pre-bonus and the bookies are still also absolutly convinced here - if vēstulēs win surprisely the televote (can happen now) all is possible.
i am a friend of taking chances philosophy and sometimes you have it only once in a lifetime and maybe today is the day for vēstulēs.

I didn't watch the national finals and "reveal performances" in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2022 either and I still have to consider whether I want to watch this year's NF or not - maybe I will just vote for Marie Reim without watching the performances because I think that all entries are rather weak.

I was hoping for to finally make an effort to submit a song which may advance to the final (like a surefire qualifer) but this year's selection of songs is even weaker

had a good song last year which was undervalued. Otherwise, Latvia is a small country and can't offer a variety of artists, more or less the same people are participating every year and thus the quality isn't good.

I loved Aija last year, it was my 2nd favorit of all songs. Aija only flopped because bad staging imho.
This year.. Im really not confident to see Latvia in the final

I really hope Kur wins tonight but i have have a sneaking suspicion that Kur and Hollow may split the vote and allow that cat song to win.

Regardless, all three songs are definietly not dead on arrival and could potentially secure Latvia's first qualification since 2016!!
