Giorgia's song - well, it's certainly not repetitive. Lyrically quite complex (I'm not going to try to learn all those words), and the song needs several listens to stick, I think.

Clara (my favourite last year): Some rap-like parts again - a bit more than last year -, and some string parts which are nice. Melodically not as strong as her brilliant and terribly underrated entry from 2024.

Simone Cristicchi: Wow, 1st in the odds, but the verses sound horrible in the live version. I'm shocked to see this among the favourites - the melody isn't interesting either. But it does have the classical Italian build-up and loads of strings.

Olly: By far the most catchy chorus of those Sanremo songs I've listened to so far. His vocal is quite good live. Charisma wise - nah.

Rose Villain: An impressive artist. (In general, there are many good live singers at Sanremo.)

When I hear Brancale singing at the beginning I see Simba running together with Pumba and Timon.

The recurring sound of the Fedez's song now seems like a variation of the Paco Rabanne commercial.

After Michielin, having Damiano sing seems like a clear help to Cristicchi. The ballad atmosphere is cleaned up to enhance his emotional song.
