Meloni is consistently rated as one of if not the most approved European leaders, you're gonna have to cancel a good chunk of the Italian population if you are gonna go down that road

Seems that your opinions are related only to LGBT support. First of all Mahmood partecipated in 2019 and not 2015. Second weìve had enough also with Vera Serduchka, Eleni Fourera; Concita Wurst ect ect. So nobody is supporting Mahmood to win again. Just to remember that the most acclaimed and beloved Loreen has partecipated several times in MF.
My dear do you know that some artists have their own carrier outside the Esc bubble? Yes Mahmood and Blanco butchered the song, yes they didnt go in any pre Esc parties but you should know the reason. They were touring Italy and Europe with their concerts. Most of the Esc contestants have nothing to do during the preEsc period so they have plenty of time to spend around in various preEsc activities. The italian artists consider SanRemo as the main event, not ESC, so after that most of them are busy with promotions or tours. You don't have to blame them because their carrier isnt concentrated around ESC.

I don't want to start a fight here, but it seems like you're taking this way too seriously. I don't know what Mahmood did to you to hate him so much, but his success on eurovision both times he participated is proof enough that quite a lot of people disagree with you. Of course, everyone can have their own opinion, but you're going a bit too far.

About Il Volo, I couldn't give two f*cks about their political views. They could support the Austrian Painter for all I care. As long as they perform well, I'll support them.

Being realistic is not same as being hater (English dictionary). His first try 2nd, brividi 6th place.. that's a downgrade. Third try 13th???? I mean he can't top soldi placement. Also I am not only one with that opinion about him. On twitter 99@% don't like that he wants to come back and so early. His live vocal mess with Blanco isn't a success according to many. Are we even commenting same song. Also Marco mengoni did more for LGBT than mahmood in his 7675 attempts.

Amazing. But this also shows the purpose of Sanremo is not to get a ticket to ESC but to win the coveted price of the Sanremo, which is why so many artists don't mind competing in Sanremo again.

Mahmood won't win, unless he comes up with the best song of the competition by far.
After Brividi, he released nothing until last month, a lot of people forgot about his existence and he lost a lot of popularity. Even though he won two Sanremo Festivals, it was not because of a big fanbase always supporting him, but his songs were considered the best in the competition he entered in.

Correct me if I'm wrong: Geolier, Fred De Palma, Angelina Mango, La Sad, Il Tre, Alfa, Gazzelle, Rose Villain, Big Mama, Ghali, Maninni + 3 newcomers from Sanremo Giovani makes a total of 14 singers who are competing in Sanremo for the first time. About half of the cast, which is good for keeping the contest going. New names competing and winning Sanremo usually bring freshness to the contest.

I still don't know whether a woman will win, with 2/3 of the audience being women it appears that the televote will favour men. It seems that last year Lazza managed to catalyse the "male vote" toward something more contemporary and less "classic", but wasn't enough to challenge Marco's fanbase.

I think I have never heard of Maninni before, maybe his entry is good enough to be among the big names.
