This is all for you to try Anyway, I'll add a thought to my previous thought. So far only "Ulveham" "Zorra" can compete with "Tuta Gold" (and Irama, Angelina and Annalisa). In fact, I wouldn't even be so sure of Angelina and Annalisa's supremacy over Norwegian and Spanish songs. Technically the songs by Annalisa and Angelina are not bad but they lack that epic effect that distinguishes them from the crowd (perhaps Angelina does better than Annalisa).

Italy with "Tuta Gold" will win in Malmö without anyone being able to hinder them. Everyone in the world is crazy about it. It has the same power as Käärijää but a finer and vocally non-dispersive construction.

"Tuta gold" isn't even remotely close to "ChaChaCha" IMO. CCC was everywhere last year after the first snippet. "Tuta gold" is well liked but not remotely as hyped up at all. If it was apparently so beloved, it wouldn't have been 5th in the jury + tele vote yesterday.

(There is simply put no "ChaChaCha" so far this year. As there isn't in most years)

Personally, I also don't like Mahmoods mumbling. In German I'd say "krieg die Zähne auseinander" = "get your teeth apart" (lol). And Käärija was a weak singer, but a good rapper - and being a weaker singer might have still cost him the win.

I tried to understand something about Bitti's Tenores who will compete together with Mahmood in the covers evening. It may seem like an anonymous choice but, if that's what I think (see video), it can generate devastating emotions.

While waiting for tonight, I'm watching Sanremo 1964 on Rai Storia (Gigliola )... Sanremo was so simple back then, but it was soooo good! Interesting to see International singers proposing their version of the songs competing as competitors for the international market (that idea was actually really good back then...).

I've noticed that @Paco Roca could be under some sort of hallucinations otherwise it's not possible he could compare Nebulosa to Annalisa or Angelina. Two different leagues. Not only Nebulosa but the whole concept of BenidormFest isn't comparable even with Sanremo Giovani. Could you dare to compare the amateurish Spanish proposals to what came out from Sanremo Giovani, I mean Clara Santi Francesi and Co.

You didn't catch my words I'm not talking about quality but about "impacting force". Technically Annalisa and Angelina may be superior but will they know how not to get lost in the mass of divas in sparkling costumes? Either you have a song with a crazy or epic show attached (Netta and Loren) or you don't go beyond Nina Zilli's position (the maximum position that Angelina could reach). Nebulossa can fail miserably, settle in mid-table or surprise but you can't say she has no identity

I see many people here and on different social platforms really underrate Geolier potential at Eurovision. I remember last year when Mengoni won. People were mostly ok with the song but the enthusiasm was not big and many people thought Italy would do worse than usual. The final result = 4th in the final. San Remo is so good this year so even Geolier would do a top 10 in Malmo, and if not a top 10, left hand side of the scoreboard for the very worst case scenario.

Anyway he must already win San Remo and this far from being a done deal yet. His televote is so big that we can take as guaranteed his spot in the superfinal but if it's a 34% televote, 33% press and 33% radio voting system. Will he get an edge on the press and radio voting over Angelina Mango, Annalisa or even Mahmood ? I don't think so.

Darling we also know how it finished with the transalpine and transpirenees divas last year. Oh they were trying so hard in the top of huge pedestal or singing so loudly to make people change the channel. They got nothing.
We know what Nebulosa is going to offer to us: a trash and clowny performance. There isn't any surprise.
But you don't know what Annalisa or Angelina could offer on the ESC stage in case one of them wins.
I remember last year many of the members here saying Italy will be out of top 10 with Due Vite, but Marco did even better.
Don't mess with a Sanremese winner. Until now none of them has gone under 7th place

Annalisa's song is overhyped, studio version isn't as impressive as live, and quando ando ando do do dooo is super annoying even on the recording.

Ghali's song is actually more interesting and there's always something new to hear and observe every time you hear.

Diamanti Grezzi is still a banger without those obnoxious teens in the video.

But Tuta Gold is all neverending addiction. It's by far the best Mahmood's song lately. Such a shame that he's already worn himself out by first 2 Sanremo / Eurovision apperances.

Loredana is a mess.

The Napolitano guy is awful. That South really drags Italian society down in every possible way. But sure they'll vote for that.
