Listen to the studio version and you will understand why it's so big. It would absolutely be in the top 10 at Eurovision.I hope Geolier will be prevented. The song gives absoltely nothing to me and I was shocked to see him first in the televotes. Now, I understand since the Italy-community explained it here. But I agree, should he win, I doubt that Italy will be in the top 10 this year.
Will watch the studio version tomorrow, but for me it is about the live performance - and I don't feel anything but boredom.La noia to Eurovision!

I do agree with you dear mauve. Will watch the studio version tomorrow, but for me it is about the live performance - and I don't feel anything but boredom.
Käärijää was about to win with a great song but a 0 voice and with a disappointing choreography and live performance, Loren won out of tune and inserting a toast plate, Mahmood was about to win with "Soldi", it's idolized among bookmakers and fandom the Ukraine's pink sauce Rap and can't win "Tuta Gold"? I understand your doubts, my friend, but this song has everything to quench the fans' thirst: originality (never seen such an impactful use of cell phone noise), urban and disco sound mixed with Italian singing and Arab and Latin American stylistic traits and a epic chorus that everyone will sing. And I didn't talk about the autobiographical elements, the difficult setting of the foreigner in society and pro-LGBT. It has everything. Here we have a world-class product at Måneskin level. Then obviously there are many songs that have to enter the competition but so far, also given the great competition that we are experiencing (there are several songs that would be good for the ESC), "Tuta Gold" is the best. I remain of my opinion that the Benidorm Fest, Sanremo, the other NFs and the Eurovision Song Contest must be won by quality and not by genre. In my opinion, the women in Sanremo have made a big leap forward but they are still not able to snatch the victory and stand up to the contrast with the other European divas. Angelina, the most intriguing in sound, barely reaches 25% of Chanel's power and we know that Chanel has lost the same.I love Mahmood's song but saying it will win ESC I think is a bit of a stretch, top 10 yes but win ESC I dont think so
and we are nicer and have better taste than the Spanish! ahahahahaah (I await the criticism ;-)Damn, I love Italy.
So many incredible songs and artists!
This is all for you to try Anyway, I'll add a thought to my previous thought. So far only "Ulveham" "Zorra" can compete with "Tuta Gold" (and Irama, Angelina and Annalisa). In fact, I wouldn't even be so sure of Angelina and Annalisa's supremacy over Norwegian and Spanish songs. Technically the songs by Annalisa and Angelina are not bad but they lack that epic effect that distinguishes them from the crowd (perhaps Angelina does better than Annalisa).and we are nicer and have better taste than the Spanish! ahahahahaah (I await the criticism ;-)
