Michele Beavi was good but he can do better (and he desperately needs to see a hair dresser, imo).

Mahmood and his duet partner were quite captivating on stage and I loved their outfits but overall, the song ain't as instant or memorable as "Soldi" or a lot of his recent singles.

I preferred Noemi's previous Sanremo entry and I somehow thought she didn't really slay as usual but her entry is very solid.

That Italian "Disco Polo" song by Ana was super entertaining - I wish she was vocally stronger to be up against the more superior vocalists from tonight, though.

I don't get the hype about that "Domenica' song.

I just watched the performances on YouTube but drom what I've seen, I think think the stage is quite amazing!

Ana finishing last is not a surprise. I would have placed her inside the Top 5 but Sanremo wasn't ready for that level of slayage.

I've read all the fresh on line newspapers talking about Sanremo and M&B had really high votes. The lowest one was 8.5.
That means they will have a huge support from the press jury. From what I ve read around the socials the couple is very appreciated and could have a huge support from the televote too. But who knows.

Ugh, I had such high hopes for Mahmood & Blanco, but it's a bit of a letdown? First of all, Mahmood was off-key several time. 2. I HATE WHEN MEN SING FALSETTO!!! 3. The strongest part of the song was whenever Blanco sang lead.

in the first day i have missed a surprising act,a cool catchy melody or something like that - the winner of the first day is a (for me!) very boring love ballad where 2 young males singing face to face.
it is not so far away from our "masterpiece" sung by the s!sters in 2019.
after the glory of maneskin i expect a little bit more from bella italia.

Elisa hasn't sung yet. The newspapers were giving votes only the first 12 songs.
For all of them the duo was the indiscussed winners.
Brividi needs more listenings I think.
It has almost 100000 views in 2 hours

First impressions: the best song of the night Eurovision wise, it's definitely Ciao Ciao by La Rappresentante di Lista.
Ana flopping with the press was something predictable: they didn't like the song and, to be kinda honest, her vocals were kinda weak.
Noemi is always delivering greatly, but her song it's not better than Glicine, or Non smettere mai di cercarmi, or Sono solo parole to name a few of her previous entries, so I don't see her winning.
Dargen D'Amico is the Willy Peyote of 2022: great tune, very radio friendly, but he won't win.
Mahmood & Blanco...I really don't know. The song is not bad, but I'm missing something.
Really glad to see Gianni Morandi and Massimo Ranieri so high: their songs are not for Eurovision, of course, but they both had really respectable entries and both delievered a good performance. Yuman and Michele Bravi were kinda bland, I don't remember at all their entries, so it's a big minus for me.
Rkomi it's interesting, but it has no chances of winning. But it's not bad for a newcomer in Sanremo.
Kinda disappointed by Achille Lauro: this could have been his year, but I don't see this happening.
Giusy Ferreri song it's not bad at all but it's definitely not that great too: it's safe, a good song for her voice, but that's it.

Tbh, I expected more from this first evening, but in Sanremo it's always the same: I start to really feel the songs on Friday night after a few listenings... It will happen this time too, no doubt about it.
