Sanremo 2021: Vote for YOUR favourite!

Loro non sanno di che parlo
Voi siete sporchi, fra’, di fango
Giallo di siga’ fra le dita
Io con la siga’ camminando
Scusami, ma ci credo tanto
Che posso fare questo salto
Anche se la strada è in salita
Per questo ora mi sto allenando

E buonasera signore e signori
Fuori gli attori
Vi conviene toccarvi i coglioni
Vi conviene stare zitti e buoni
Qui la gente è strana, tipo spacciatori
Troppe notti stavo chiuso fuori
Mo’ li prendo a calci, ‘sti portoni
Sguardo in alto, tipo scalatori

No

Io ho scritto pagine e pagine
Ho visto sale, poi lacrime
Questi uomini in macchina

Tu portami dove sto a galla
Che qui mi manca l’aria
E parla la gente, purtroppo
Parla, non sa di che cosa parla
Tu portami dove sto a galla
Che qui mi manca l’aria
Parla la gente, purtroppo
Parla, non sa di che cazzo parla
Tu portami dove sto a galla

Okay might be little bit offtopic but I have wondering question arised
After success of Maneskin in Sanremo Festival will there chance we going to hear more Italian Rock in the festival....
The Sanremo Festival is now open to any musical genre. Obviously they have to pass the internal judgment before competing on the Ariston stage.

It depends on how much more Rock you're thinking, but personally I would say no. Rock is still a niche genre and in Sanremo it's generally present as a "token Rock song of the year". Måneskin's victory is not a sign of a renewed interest in Rock, it's just a proof of Måneskin's current popularity, the biggest change I can see is going from one token Rock song to two next year.

That is why I avoid stating that I hate 'The Moon Is Rising' in Latvia's thread. Diva Samanta's fans or maybe rather believers within her sect would eat me alive.
Hmmm ...then I would eat you alive as I love "The moon is rising" (I didn't like her last year's entry though) ... but as I don't have cannibalistic tendencies, you are safe with me ... xqueenbitch:mrgreen:

I liked 'Still Breathing' but only live version of it so there is a tiny chance that Latvia will grow on me again.

I
That's true ... I forgot it. I saw her performing in home concert and that was the only time I really liked the song!
I loved her performance in the NF (Supernova) the most, her vocals were so crisp too. Pure madness & sadly prophetic visually (back-up singers wore face shields), and there were those spray bottles too.

Now that all songs have been released (except Belarus, but I doubt I will like the artist's song to make a huge change).
I am re-evaluating all songs as per studio form and re-looking into my grading system and how I have ranked the songs according to my personal preference.

The song has grown a little bit on me. I do appreciate the artist being true to their sound. It's authentic.
But it's still not something that I will want to listen or actively reach out to listen. But if it's on, I wouldn't mind.
So upgrading the rating of the song to a :5:.

Death threats in form of emojis ... :ROFLMAO:
You would think! But people can get real emotional on YouTube. Please enjoy this collage I made after my husband appeared on an ESCUnited video rating "Arcade" and gave it a 3/10. 3/10! There are 3 ratings he could've given that were worse, and this is what happened!

pooh --- that's really stupid of people believing THEY are experts. I know what it means to be bashed just for having a different opinion (experienced it myself a lot in my past though not concerning ESC). That's what I hope for mostly, but what will never come true: to respect other (music) opinions. There will always be people treating you like the worst of something. I am really sorry that your hubby had to make thru such a thing. But it's good to know you were there by his side!

And this is why I don't feel like sharing opinions on Youtube, even though I think I'd enjoy the experience of making videos and talking about my passion (I don't even feel like making top lists). People come for opinions and then get angry when an opinion shared is not to their liking. It's like you owe THEM, "I love this song so now you must tell me it's good too." That whole Arcadegate thing was simultaneously freaking hilarious and also incredibly cringe-inducing. Booo hooooo Robert doesn't like Arcade. Imagine me with my often off-kilter taste having an arrogant fit every time someone expressed not liking a song that I did? It's like the popularity of what they're into is giving these people this confidence to be assholes. Lame. Anyway, Robert's the boss 💪

There's one Youtube lady who had been receiving actual death threats after one of her latest videos. Another I remember was receiving hideous comments about her looks after she said she didn't like a song. There's seriously such an embarrassing part to our community. I can't work out if it's children still learning or whether it's grown adults that are just dense.

Obviously you have all my solidarity.
Don't except at all that kind of behavior.
On the other hand some of these judgements and reactions are given by people who behave like experts and try to analyze without having any credits. Just an example. A couple called Toy&Goy reacted to Maneskin on YouTube.
First 20 seconds and they started to say what is this? Where is the music? He is not singing ect ect. Shortly they didn't like the song .and that isn't a problem at all. But when you try to analyze technically saying "where is the music?" meanwhile an entire orchestra is playing with them, there is a problem. If you are a music expert or a musician then you can express your opinion arguing with technical elements but if you are a simple listener don't enter in that mined field because your "non-expert but expertised" opinion would be butchered.

But the problem will always be the same ... I comment and people disappear ... you can never open any balanced dialogue (perhaps these people have no arguments) or a funny exchange [...]

Get used to this, happens quite often here. Someone recently claimed in the Swedish thread that Sweden would always send the same song in slight variations. When I asked him what Heroes and If I Were Sorry or Dance You off and Too Late For Love have in common, do you think I got an answer?
Of course not  I have nothing against people disliking songs. But sometimes they pull off ridiculous statements making zero sense to justify their opinions, leaving me wondering why
