I think the explanation is very simple: he didn't react to anything from Sanremo because he heard all the songs before the shows ended, so if he filmed a reaction video it wouldn't be his first reaction.

first of all - finland try to make metal and italy do it. (finland will get a lot of televoting points but jurypoints surely not so many.)
2020 was my first live internet sanremo festival - 5 days in a row "die hard" until 2-3 o clock in the morning for an average ESCfan.
it was very cool over the days but at the end no courage (these 2 hard metal rap songs were very good for my taste) and choosen a solid ballad.

2021 "die hard" again but has not the fully 2020 level - like the band with that rosamunda cover a lot,coma_cose,colapesce & dimartino and of course måneskin but never thought that this metal band could win the whole thing.
sometimes miracles happen and voila!
i dont like,that they must create a new lyrics version through that silly PC rules.
måneskin give sanremo so much fresh air - it is a music revolution in a good way.
for me clearly and the co-favorite to win in rotterdam (together with the roop).
it is also a tough test for the jurys in rotterdam - they can't miss it!
måneskin on stage is pure energie and that is surely no disadvantage - they will rock rotterdam!
i still missing the high screen quality 1080p RAI version from first evening - the violins,the orchestra (the true star of sanremo!),the hard drums - a very special extra cool version.
and yes i also like the funny nuns cover.

Speaking of ESC, I don't think Italy can win every year. The artists are many and the strong songs are not few. But you can't say (apart from Michielin and Emma) that we brought weak songs. This is not true.

Want to know when I started watching ESC? From Gabbani onwards. I had heard of it before but had never come close to this show. I remember how naively, hearing every singer sing, I thought "Wow! These singers are all strong! It's a clash of champions!". Then ... when I saw the unpleasant and constant 90 degree bowing of some nations towards others ... I realized that music was not the protagonist. It was the protagonist ... politics!
