Yesterday the first 5 finalists for Sanremo Giovani were chosen, they are: Thomas, Fadi, Fasma, Leo Gassmann, Marco Sentieri

5 artists eliminated: Nova, Raim, Federica Abbate, Samuel Pietrasanta, Ainé

On December 7 there will be the second semifinal with other 10 singers and only 5 go to the Final with the other 5 of 1st semifinal

Iv followed Malika for many many years.In my view she is probably the finest Italian female vocalist of her generation (along with Annalisa).Live at Sanremo where she gets to get things perfect she is stunning.Adesso e qui (Nostalgico presente) was probably the greatest delivery of a song iv seen at the Ariston.I think i was probably the only Englishman commenting on her music years ago and she must of known,she sent me a private message and a photo when she was in the UK on holiday visiting Stonehenge.The problem is her songs never get the televote they deserve,but the jury is different.She usually smashes that out of the park,and rightly so.

RAI has sold all the advertising space for Sanremo 2020, with 40 million euros in revenues.

Twelve thousand euros per second for a spot at the Sanremo Festival. Rai Pubblicità aims at a record collection for the 70th edition of the event and raises prices. An example? The "package" of the promotions (76 "every night, 120" on Saturday) went from the 5 million 820 thousand euros of the Baglioni-bis to the 6 million 230 thousand of the Amadeus formula: an increase of 410 thousand euros. But it doesn't end there. The Sanremo preview spots reached 924 thousand euros (there were 787 thousand) while the intoductive ads (10 seconds for 10 passes went from 987 thousand to at one million and 53 thousand euros).

There's no chance. It's going to be like Sanremo before 2019, so the Giovane finalists will be divided into sets of 3 to compete for a seperate award and then the winner will perform their song on the final night.

Annalisa announced in various articles, but in many interviews she said that she will not be in Sanremo 2020, she will come out with a new album in spring 2020 but without going through the Festival.

Francesca Michielin said a few weeks ago that the Festival is not in her programs for 2020.
