Ahhhh I remember "Adesso Tu". I arrived in Italy a year later, to live the nexy 4 years, and fell in love with Eros Ramazotti.

Levante is my clear favorite this night, with Anastasio she's the only one I would want to see in Rotterdam.
I like Elettra's studio version but her live performance is disppointing, she clearly lacks power.

About Gabbani, I didn't like Occidentali's Karma, mainly because of his voice, but at least it was fun. This ? It's fine, but underwhelming, nothing peculiar about it.
Michele Zarillo was nice too, his chorus was particularly soothing.

For me, last night was weaker than the one before. The only three songs I liked were from Levante, Tosca and Michele Zarrillo. The rest was so and so. Nothing breathtaking. I am looking forward to the coversongs now.

Bring the old presentation back when all 24 sing on the first night.
After song 6 I had to wait one hour for Francesco Gabbani, tired af lying in my bed.

But I knew he was going to be great. Of course this can't top "Occidentali's Karma", but can Psy top "Gangnam style"? Can Luis Fonsi top "Despacito"? Can Haddaway top "What Is Love"? Of course not... you get the point.

I can see Viceversa very high on my list if he gets chosen.

Elodie or Levante probably should go to Eurovision (If vocals weren't such a realistic sticking point for people I would have said Achille without any doubt).

Pinguini Tattici Nucleari have a solidly good entry, Occidentali's Karma-like (not a direct copy but in that same ballpark), but MY GOD I want to slap the shit out of the lead singer. So annoying.

I also liked Anastasio's entry a lot but judging by his social media activity he's a fascist so #bye

I havent been able to watch the S.R live. But after going through the entries of YT I must say I find this years S.R to be very strong! Last year I was quite disappointed (but very happy with the winner), but this year there are quite a few songs that will probably make it straight to my top 10 og 5.
My number one? Hmm.... not sure. But I easily admit that I very much agreed with the winner of day one.

That interval act was so long that i could in theory probably fly to Sanremo after Tosca's performance and still be in time to catch Gabbani.

But in all seriousness. He can win eurovision this year, because there's no monkey and people won't precieve it as a joke.

the beautiful thing and that they sing better live with the orchestra than recorded in the studio. I think the live performances of Rancore, anastasio, gabbani diodato were the top.
