I must have missed something with Gabbani. Occidentali's Karma is an all time classic and up there with my favourite Italian Eurovision entries. The moment I heard it I was hyped and felt great joy from it. I didn't dislike his song tonight but I can't say it gave me wow feelings, unlike many of the other songs we have heard during this festival. Rancore's position tonight was a disgrace. One of the very best songs and performances of this year. Open up Italy.

Gotta catch up now on the first few I missed during the evening though.

I usually don't like rap but Rancore was underrated by this demoscopic jury... Wouldn't put him on top 3 but his performance was really outstanding from a visual point of view, thought it would impress more people.

Francesco one of my favorites, happy he won tonight. I was also rooting for Levante and PTN, good place for PTN.

And yes night 2 > night 1.

She actually got a very good position considering the demoscopic is usually a joke and go for the older middle of the road acts.The press/orchestra vote will turn it around,but interesting now is how they play it.Iv long thought the demoscopic vote should be abolished as its always way out from reality,but they stick with it.
