I don't think that they will pick him again for ESC, but I'm eager to find out how the two of them will blend together.

At first look at the list the ideal ESC entry would be to not choose from the SanRemo big.The newcomers are far better this year,
.Fantastic newcomers,,most of the big list poor.
Arisa is very good, but would need a great song and she tends to do sad songs not suited to ESC,.I might warm to some on the songs,but its a poor list in my outsiders eyes.

I do Little,,,i think Veronica De Simone - 'Nuvole che passano' is wonderful, cant wait to see her on stage at SanRemo),,shes better than anything on the big list.Have Italy said yet if they are selecting for ESC from SanRemo?,,iv heard nothing confirmed,,perhaps theyl select outside,,possible.

No, we don't know the way our singer will be selected yet.
You'll find some video of her, having taken part in the first (and the only one so far) edition of "The Voice of Italy" (she ended at 3rd place).

Who knows maybe they will do it different this year and go outside San Remo and select Emma although I personally doubt

It feels like ever since Italy returned the Emma rumor has always popped up so unless there is some hard proof (like Emma giving hints or something) I'm not sure I believe any of it. Emma is great though and if it is her then I totally excited

She doesn't really fit the mold people put the other Italian singers/entries into. It would be a real change so maybe Italy will finally join the new century

Even in this song the typical elitist/classy style echoeth in a way. ;D I could not agree more with you, their entries weren't bad but I am longing for finally fresh entries from Italy i.e. contemporary, experimental or folksy music.

Nina and Marco were fantastic let down by lazy staging.
Italy though have the most contemporary artists in Europe right now.They are simply going through a really great period.Its ironic but as an outsider who loves Italian music but speaks very little Italian I think the big artists at SanRemo this year are the best in Italy.The best were at SanRemo last year.
If I was Italy I wouldn't be selecting for ESC this year from the big artists at SR.
I think in 2015 it will be Annalisa,,she got the OGAE ticket this year and that's a big plus to getting ESC the following year.This year could indeed be Emma,though id prefer Dolcenera or Malika Ayane.I think both are much better for ESC than Emma.
The greatest ESC win ever to me was Italy in Copenhagen in 64 so id love to see another top class contemporary Italian female singer next year.

Id love to think so GRE,,thats why I was really hoping it would be Annalisa as she reminds me so much of Gigliola Cinquetti .Gigliola was a real wow moment in ESC history.She showed you could combine contemporary with pure dripping class.Italy has a few female artists right now who I feel delvier the same,nobody else in Europe has that right now.Italy need to deliver one to Copenhagen ,its time they took the prize again.

Italy should won last year !
The song was fantastic & classy.
Also it would be good for Eurovision to change place,not again Scandinavia year after year !
I am SURE that if Italy won in 2013,then most of South countries (Cyprus,Serbia,Bosnia,Croatia etc ) would not withdrew.

No way! A random artist from Sanremo would be a better choice than Emma Marrone.
