What do you mean they haven't decided yet? Please don't tell me at the very last minute they are going to change it to "I love Belarus!"

Read Matt's previous comment ;)

 I meant they haven't decided on the language use yet (Italian or bi-lingual).

I just don't understand why they would want to butcher this song with English. Italian is a beautiful language. Please keep singing it in Italian. That's the beauty of it... Yes, I don't understand it, but if I'm dying to know the meaning of the lyrics I'm sure I can find the translated lines online.

I wish every country sang in its own language.

funny thing is, I never do that. if the performance is good, one should be able to understand the song without understanding lyrics.

The most important thing that a new song in Italian, too, because if it was changed to English, it would be very bad

Frankly, that's pretty pointless, now. This is a swedish/british song sung by an italian singer. Words may be in italian, but there is nothing to represent italian music, here.
On the other hand, "Per sempre" could've been sung in english and would have been still a true italian song. This one is not.
If you are lulling yourself into believing that "italian words" = "italian song", you are just in for delusion.

The first song was really good! This one... well, I get the feeling Italy started to get cold feet and didn't want to risk beeing hosts for 2013 after all, so they changed a good song for a so-so song. That way they can get e decent result without having to spend money on a international final next year. Oh well. 5 points.

At first I was shocked when I read that Italy changed their song... but to my own surprise, I like the new entry even better than "Per Sempre" (which was veery classy and elegant)!
So...I'm fine with this change and with "Lamore è femmina".
It's a good one, imo.

Would it still be possible for the RAI to change it back to Per Sempre? or even to change it a second time?

What are the EBU rules for this?

Can a country change an entry endlessly before the deadline?
