I don't really follow Eurovision related events before the actual semis, so could someone fill me in on why people don't like this guy?

Song is okay, but that gimmicky ring thing was so out of place. Everything is supposed to be slow, magical, with stars and galaxy and then there is that fast spinning ring just going in the background. It's really distracting.

I couldn't find the video again but during the red carpet, someone asks him what he thinks about Douwe Bob and he says that he doesn't like him at all, and he asks the next question. Then once again he keeps saying that he doesn't like him at all over and over again. That is one example of thousand.

In Amsterdam, Hovi apparently always tried to be on the front when a picture was being taken, and Douwe said to him: "Look buddy, I really like you, but energy levels, you know, lower them" or something like that. Well, Hovi didn't take this well and said to Douwe that "he may be a star in the Netherlands, but he will never be anywhere else" and that Douwe shouldn't talk to him, look to him or touch him.
Douwe said on Dutch television, in a documentary about his participation, that the first thing he'd do when he'd meet Hovi in Stockholm was to hug him.

Honestly disappointed with his performance. I had high expectations concerning his staging but in the last seconds, he looked too weak for such an ending. My favourite part of the songs are the "you hypnotized me" but this part let me down in live and the faces are not beautiful to my taste.
I hope that they will improve it on Saturday. However, it will mean a bottom 5.

Just saw Israeli performance. It's a very good song, great staging, pretty much everything, but these dancers or something. :? It's soooo distracting, this song keeps you focused on the singer until they show up and everything goes down.

But still, this is a good entry. Very good.

Speaking of his behaviour, I liked his interviews because he is so funny, but I have to say the border between being rude and funny is very tiny and he crosses it too often.

Ok, we got you, you are wanna be diva, but dude, relax.

Still not my cup of tea. Hovi is a great singer and he proved it yesterday, but this song is just mediocre, sounds like some American mainstream artist's reject.

I saw it is a potential borderline qualifier, and last night he definetly deserved to get in. Awesome performance and great staging. The only thing I didn't like is his diction. I did not understand some parts of the lyrics at all.

If that is fixed he might reach top 15.

THIS is why we need revamps in the Contest! What a beautiful song this is, it could be taken straight from a big Disney film (and that's a good thing imo ) And obviously Hovi is like one of the nicest competitors ever

Very childish but I'm so glad Douwe ended up higher than Hovi.
