3 years means nothing. Several countries go years without qualifying, then qualify. Look at countries like Netherlands, Bulgaria & Slovenia.

I think that we sent good songs, the fact Israel don't do well recently in ESC we know it very well, the last time we did well was...6 years ago, top 10 in the finals, now we fight to qualify to finals with songs that deserve to be in finals, none can deny. The fact we don't do well just shows that maybe some countries won't do well anyway, no matter what song they gonna send, and I don't comapre myself to other countries, and other people here, don't compare to other countries, I say my own opinion and my own feeling, and if one or two countries do worse, it's individual cases for my opinion!

Apart from 2012 Israel have been shite lately and it's reflected in the results...

Israel has been failing only for 3 years. The Netherlands spent their time in the semi-finals from 2004 to 2013! 10 years!
Dana International and Izabo didn't deserve to qualify. They're entries were very underwhelming, specially Dana's. However I agree that Moran should have qualified last year. Nevertheless, it's just 3 years!

As said, this is my opinion and I see countries like NL as individual cases. it's funny how easy ppl say "It's just 3 years", yeah it's just 3 years that we sent some of our best for the competition, and we did too much, Kdam 2011 and Kdam 2013!

Kdam 2011 was a gigantic mess laughed about in the media afterwards and kdam 2013 was quite infamous for other reasons and you know it.

Anyways in my opinion Dana did not give a sh*t in 2011, expecting she could qualify without doing anything and sending a half-arsed produced song, but I guess Europe had the last say about that, Izabo were never going to qualify and their performance was quite messy.

and let's not forget the whale dress, that one should've qualified imo but I can't exactly blame Europe from repelling a tad from that..

I agree about everything, except the bit about Moran.
I honestly think her non-qualification was one of the most unfair things in the last year!

Dana totally deserved to qualify in 2011. Ding Dong still remains a classic from that year and her catwalk performance was fierce and on point.
But 2011 was slightly marred by amazing songs failing to qualify...Stella Mwangi being another shocking casualty.
