My suggestion for next year, if Israel stays, is to send an uptempo booty shaking Mizrahi/Ethno-pop entry.
I mean look at Belarus 2013, they send a weak booty-shaking entry and made it to the final because they simply had no competition in that genre.
It's a type of genre that atleast the viewers tend to like (Greece, Turkey, Armenia have more or less always ended up top. 10 with such entries) and Israel has alot of music like that.
Now, there's no doubt Moran was screwed over, but considering the ballads have been taken over, countries should start thinking a bit outside the box to stand out.
So please stay Israel, and next year send a hot girl (or a hot guy or a hot duo) who can sing and really shake what they got to a hot Mizrahi-pop song with lots of booty-shaking going on and some hot oriental rhythm
This one you mean?
This one you mean?
can't harel comeback? just to see him again xD
I loved his debut album, but I think his ESC selection was rather weak compared to his previous material, I mean it was an alright song but I was a bit let down by the entry and the whole internal selection's songs
Boaz Mauda's internal selection had much stronger songs.
But I guess you just want to LOOK at him? Harel looks alright, but Israel got hotter singer dudes to choose from then
hotter than harel? i guess i'm gonna move to israel then xD still, harel is super hot to me and DON'T YOU DARE CRITICIZE HIM! xD
in 2010 he had a great song but he was too nervous and towards the end he was a little bit out of key (both in the semi and in the final). i also think that performing before Portugal in the final killed both songs. in fact in the televoting israel was 19th with 27 points an Portugal was 20th with 24 points.
and NO i'm not comparing both songs. although Milim was far better than "Há dias assim", Filipa had an amazing voice and that made the song improve a lot.
