So it seems the performing order has been decided for Eurosong tonight:

01. Leila Jane - Wild
02. Adgy - Too Good For Your Love
03. Public Image Limited - Hawaii
04. Connolly - Midnight Summer Night
05. Wild Youth - We Are One
06. K Muni and ND - Down In The Rain

Wild Youth performing 5th is making me a bit nervous but at least Connolly is also performing in the second half...

Maybe Midnight Summer Night will look even better coming right after Hawaii.

I also just realized we have an international jury voting too which sounds promising. At least if the Irish public and jury are questionable and give Hawaii a high score the international jury is probably less likely to respond to it.

I don't think Adgy will win... I can't see that song being performed well live. Especially on that stage.

I think it's between Wild Youth and Connolly.

Prediction of the rankings:

Public Vote:
01. Connolly
02. Wild Youth
03. Leila Jane
04. Adgy
05. Public Image Limited
06. K Muni and ND

International Jury:
01. Connolly
02. Leila Jane
03. Adgy
04. Wild Youth
05. K Muni and ND
06. Public Image Limited

Irish Jury:
01. Connolly
02. Wild Youth
03. Leila Jane
04. Adgy
05. Public Image Limited
06. K Muni and ND

I feel like the Irish jury is the hardest to predict, they can make very interesting decisions. I don't fully trust that they won't give high points to Hawaii....

I could see the international jury being the undoing of Wild Youth, I feel like Leila and Adgy have more hype from Eurovision fans while Wild Youth might have more of an edge with the public vote and Irish jury.

To be fair, a lot of this is banking on Connolly having a solid live performance.

With her being 18 I am a little bit worried about what her live performance skills and stage presence will be like.

If that's off then I guess you can throw my prediction out the window. :ROFLMAO:

Because I have lots of Irish Eurovision fans, I really hope every year, that Ireland sends a decent song... from this NF, only Too Good For Your Love really catches me, I hope, this song will be selected tonight

I remember when the BBC were adamant they'd win 2015 because they sent a 'party song' to commemorate 60 years of the contest which in reality was a car crash that probably caused blackouts in Vienna for a week with the amount of electricity used on that fucking dress

No matter who wins tonight, RIP irish streak of amazing entries (2019-2022)

I can live with Connolly being your representative, but i don't think my heart rate will go up like it usually does when i actually have someone to supportxcheers

Hm i dont think performing after hawaii will be very good for connolly. Both Songs are rather slow and dont really have strong memorable hooks.
But i'm usually wrong so 🤷‍♂️😅

Is is true that this Irish NF is expected to be as unspectacular as the previous one due to the quality of songs?

I want Ireland to do well, but I think where they are going wrong is the selection process. They need to bring in people that work in the music industry, people that manage successful Irish artists like Dermot Kennedy, because they know what they are doing and what works. RTE and the people don't have a clue, and it isn't their fault because the music industry isn't really their expertise, so of course the songs and artists selected are underwhelming and mostly hopeless.

Dermot is actually under TAP music. I wouldn't mind Ireland collabing with Tap as well.
