It‘s a lot better than last year. But with all the strong entries this year it doesn‘t make it in my top 10 so far.

Not bad, but for me, it's a step down from SOML. It's still on the plus side tho, so a 6 from me.

Well I didn't find it as instantaneous as Story of My Life but it's less dated that her 2020 effort while still fitting in Lesley's pop rock style and it improves on every listen. Very radio friendly and percussion heavy. If she is still working with Thisispopbaby this will look good on stage. I'm happy with it regardless if it qualifies or not. Being in Semifinal 1 makes it a lot tougher though.

Total garbage, as far as i'm concerned. I don't get why Ireland and the UK keeps sending songs in the same genre, that never ever does well.... they're really not trying at all!

Hate to say it but I kind of agree. Although I wouldn't say it's complete garbage. There is some sincerity to this, which is its strongest facet. Since listening to this morning it's a bit forgettable. Needs a really strong performance and yet I've heard Lesley isn't the strongest. I've actually been singing SOML all afternoon which is a bit worrying for Maps

I will have to downgrade it, I think. I liked her last year's entry much more. It felt more authentic to me, this one now is too ... polished? The vibe was better last year and the song more memorable.

^^ Even though I prefer this song by miles, I think that her voice got heavily layerd. Even a bit too polished and too much autotune at times which I honestly do not understand since her voice seems to be perfectly fine and she seems to be a great vocalist. I am curious to hear this song live since I think that this "flaw" will get easily expunged.

I'm not really sure about it on first listen...but I do think it's better than "Story of my Life" overall.

Edit: Ok...I do think this song is a lot more likeable than last years.

I actually disliked the „na na na na na na“ part in SOML which was a solid song apart from that, but in retrospect this was what made the song special and recognizable. Wish I could say this about Maps...

She has just performed it on some rooftop in Late late show, but it was a playback.. lol I watched an hpur of Late lata show (without LInda Martin) for the live rendition, but I only got that..

It's the autotune. There's too much of it and it makes the song sound metallic.

I really like this entry though, but I wish it had a moment to really clinch the attention, and retain it throughout. That stage show had better deliver.

After a full day with this song I'm increasing my rating to . This isn't typically the type of music I listen to, but I found myself replaying it without realising. It improves my mood which instantly gives it an advantage over some other songs released so far. Hoping the live version will feel more authentic.

It's an okay song, but nothing that wows me. And it took all the way until the chorus for me to realize that she was singing in English, and even then I only understood one or two words here and there. The verses were a complete mumble-fest drowned out by the music.

Yeah, sure. I like the pace and freneticism of the song, and I actually really like the vocal performance she delivers (which is weird since she didn't exactly distinguish herself last year). Wish the final minute were stronger - I feel it kind of wastes its opportunity.

God I can't get over this. I really wasn't expecting anything good at all but wow. I listened to it all afternoon when I did my shopping. I listened to it twice on my run. It's been a long long time since I've been excited by an Irish song upon its release and I am HERE for this feeling!
