What's funny is that when they started hyping it up as "the next Euphoria" one of my first thoughts was that it may just mean it sounds like its from 2012

Anyway, apparently Ireland has also taken the "copy old Max Martin songs" route like France, only slightly newer (yes, Katy Perry's, Kelly Clarkson's and P!nk's hits were often written by the same people).

Very Katy Perry-like, my first impression. I like some Katy's songs but it's like 10% of it, and this one is rather closer to that 90% of the rest. I am surprised it's coming from Ireland too. There are some likeable elements here but overall I am not grabbed by it.

I was surprised by the song type didn't expect this from Ireland, it's pleasant but they will have a job in semi-final 1 by the looks of things.

I listened to the song of Ireland, the "Queen of Eurovision" and I must say that it surprised me positively

The sound is engaging, light and fresh It reminds me, maybe I'm wrong, one of those sounds often used for great songs from UK, Australia and USA. In fact, I think this song will have a lot of market in English speaking countries.

Now we come to the only flaw, in my personal opinion, the lightness of this song in the long run becomes too rarefied You can no longer grasp the song. My reaction to hearing it was fun but towards the end of the song something was lost

Anyway, congratulations Ireland You are in my "Top 10". I rate 10/12 for the song and points for me

Tell me which catchy song, apart from Germany, isn't generic in this edition? The Lithuanian song itself must include the "show variant", the ballet, to try to enhance a song that does not have a memorable refrain.

It's very Americanised pop-rock. And yes, reminiscent of early days Katy Perry/Kelly Clarkson/Avril Lavigne etc. I am not liking it despite it being uptempo. It's very standard but it doesn't grab you at all. Too basic. Giving it a 5.

The nanana-part is the moment where I have to fight not to push the skip-button. The rest is... well a decent effort, nothing more.

Finally found my 12 pointer It's the music I'm 100% into, no matter it sounds outdated. It doesn't really sound outdated to me btw, because I've been listening to this kind of music since I was younger for me, it's present.
