Yeah, it's extremely 2000ish and that music in combination with her voice is probably my least favorite genre. Might still stand out? But I'm not too hopeful for Ireland after their Eurovision history in recent years...

I'm not into this kind of songs, this feels really 00's, anyway there are some enjoyable parts but when you are not into this specific musical style you simply can't give this song a good mark.

Let's see if this grows on me, a :4: by now

It's not winning material let's be clear. Sweden relieved. But, we don't know the staging. They've mentioned lgbt performance also. 7 pts for now. PS. It reminds me of USA songs.

I'm confused and don't know how to rate this entry.
Also I worry about her ESC performance.

when i said ireland needed to go kitsch and throwback-ish, this isn't what i had in mind but it certainly works just as well! this sound is in the past long enough to evoke some nostalgia in people and it's FUN and it ofncourse is fighting for gay rights and people were killed. 7 points. you go, ireland, you might have a chance at the final this year.

Just as I hoped Ireland has massively outclassed the UK xheat It reminds me of Et Cetera which I also loved. As much as I hate to do these kind of comparisons it does kind of remind me of Taylor Swift, it sounds fairly current even if a bit 00s.

Today is day of miracles. Good song, not so dated, but I truly enjoy it. 7 pts!

:3: for this annoyingly childish Katy Perry reject with High School Musical elements.

This is no Euphoria 2.0 or anything great.
They just threw in generic flop singles by P!nk, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, mixed them all together and forgot to spice it up. It is a flat and uninspiring attempt to create something catchy and uplifting.

Oh yeah Ireland, I like this!! xclap

It sounds like a song for P!nk which they didn't fit in an album so Lesley thought "Well, then I grab it for myself". And I like it, very pop-rockish, feels very early 2010s in a nice nostalgic way. Good choice Ireland! :D

My friend was playing this in the other room and I honestly thought he was listening to Pink.

Is it sad that my mindset is "our recent entries have been generic and crap but at least this time we're generic and sorta catchy"

Maybe the live performance will be enough to see us through.

Is it just me, or isn't this song absolutely perfect as the first entry in semi 1? Sure that would mean that Irelands chances to go through are slightly limited (it is a strong semi after all!), but it is a nice party song to start things off with. :D
