Niall from One Direction sent out a tweet. It's over Ireland #RIPIreland

He did that for Zoe last year, and she came dead last if I remember correctly ;)

HEARTBEAT - OVERRATED
BE MINE - UNDERRATED

After that, Eoghan Quigg is my favourite.

To be fair, Zoe performed horrendously on the night. She skewered any good will she might have gained from the tweet as soon as she opened her mouth.

I have faith in Can Linn and in Ireland. It's game time!

I think I'll skip this NF now. We already know the result.

Laura O'Neill will probably get a nice boost from this song.

Yeah Panti's already publicly supported Laura on Twitter. Although I don't think that will be enough, I don't think Panti's the type of person to just have mindless followers who wouldn't think for themselves. Also I was trying to remember who the five candidates were earlier on and I couldn't remember Laura O'Neill. Not a good sign tbh.

I know it probably wouldn't get that many to vote for her but it probably doesn't take that many to sway things. Also she can sing well live so she might do better than people expect with a few extra votes helping her over the edge.

Let's hope that the RTÉ studio proves her downfall. I know we give out about it a lot, but it is really good when it comes to instrumental music, something that could work well in Can-Linn's favour given that between Heartbeat and the Movie Song, Hearbeat's instrumentals are a lot more distinctive and stronger than whatever vague guitar rubbish that the Movie Song uses.

It all comes down to Kasey's ability to sing live.

I'm quietly hopeful that Kasey will showcase better vocals this time around, I think the song will accommodate her better than her last song did.

Plus Hazel Kaneswaren has been harping on about Kaseys ability to perform every chance she gets in interviews, it makes me think that at least some proper thought has gone into the choreography.

Gonna watch this NF then :D

I'll be happy if either "Heartbeat" or "Be mine" wins. Say NO to that Eoghan guy xcheer

I haven't listed to the 5 entries so I'll get to judge them "objectively". I'm really curious to see what Ireland has in store for us.

How good this year's Eurovision will be depends on Ireland making the right choice tonight.
