Song 1: Sigga Ózk – "Dancing Lonely"
It's difficult judging the first song, but this is a pop song, with a really catchy chorus. It's ironic this is titled "Dancing Lonely" when Sigga has four dancers with her; a closer representation of the title would be Sigga dancing whilst singing alone. For some reason, Sigga's voice reminds me of Kate Bush, Cyndi Lauper or Toni Basil.

Song 2: Bragi – "Sometimes the World's Against You"
A ballad, with a gentle first and second verse, and a powerful chorus. I like the various images on the background screens during the choruses. Bragi has a good voice, and sang well live. For some reason, this song reminds me of Tusse - "Voices" in ESC 2021. Altogether a pleasant ballad, but is this too forgettable for Eurovision?

I really love Bragi!
If he was looking for a new best friend, I'd definitely send in my application!xlove
Sadly I find the song a bit dull...
I hope I'll see him next time in my local pub, not in Liverpool ;)

I hope this isnt nearly as messy as it was in Icelandic because I love Doomsday Dancing as a studio track

Song 3: Celebs – "Doomsday Dancing"
An unusual song to say the least, because the verses have a spooky feel to them, as does the bridge. The chorus is more like typical pop, and it's a lively catchy chorus. Various patterns on the background screen enhance this song. This will be a memorable song tonight, but will it be memorable enough for Eurovision?

Song 4: Diljá – "Power"
Is this a power ballad, or some other style of song? Diljá has a beautiful voice, and demonstrates her talent to pitch high. Why did she lie on the stage floor, with her legs bent, for hte early part of the song? The chorus is powerful and memorable. The song is enhanced by varoius patterns on the background screen, and the smoke effect on the stage; presumably that's a representation of power in the livelier parts of the song. This could do well tonight, but if this gets to Eurovision, will it be able to get past the semi-final?

Dilja is a bit annoying, and though I do acknowledge its qualities, the song isn't really for me either... Perhaps it'll grow on me ;)
And it's probably still my favorite

Langi Seli og Skyggarnir is probably the worst so far.. I disliked pretty much everything

Song 5: Langi Seli & Skuggarnir – "OK"
Well to start with, the long introduction, and later instrumental sections, remind me of The Shadows. Considering the title, it's hardly surprising they've got the giant letters OK standing on stage. There's plenty of orange in the background; I'm curious as to why they've chosen that colour. There are a lot of instances of "OK" in this song. Whilst this number of instances of "OK" are easy to remember, whatever your language, I think this number makes it too repetitive. The rest of the lyrics are in Icelandic; the only song to contain Icelandic in this final. Undeniably this is a catchy song, but I htink this will be too dated for Eurovision 2023.
