LOL. GO HOME CARIAN UR DRUNK.
Because pretty tales don't laaaaaaaaast xcry xcry xcry

Specifically, my relationships tend to end before they even start . Oh well, I've long since accepted that I'll die fat, lonely, and dropdead gorgeous ^_^

Oh, you are having flings, you get involved and you are full of hopes, but then it turns out that you were the only one who was already fancying the church and wedding? I assume you're gay, so I will tell you one thing that once a friend told me. Gay loves never last cuz they burn fast in passion and lust. Only rarely they last longer than one month

As for the dying part, let me know how it goes, when you die. Yep, this is also oxymoron, and it was intentional.

Anyways, guys, I apologize for this digression from the topic. Iceland is great, and I really do hope they will do great this year in ESC.

But let me tell to all of you one thing - I don't know why, but this year I am feeling like there are so many good songs. Is the good placement really that important to confirm the quality of a song? I mean, a lot of people try to criticize and belittle certain songs by giving those prophetic comments such as "Oh, this ain't gonna qualify", "oh, this will have difficulties qualifying" etc. I really dont care if a song that I love and like and listen to gets qualified or not. Qualification in ESC is not a confirmation nor a proof that some song is good or bad. That's all I want to say in the end. Have a great evening.

I agree with you. Liking or disliking a song has nothing to do with how well a song does in Eurovision, and the opposite. I try to put things in two baskets when listening to the songs, first what I like and also how well I think it will do. Sometimes these coincide and sometimes it doesn't. For example I loved Belgium last year, had it in my top 5 the whole season, but when I saw the rehearsal clips, I started to understand that Sennek wouldn't qualify. But that doesn't change the matter that I still love "A Matter Of Time", think it is an amazing song and still listens to it every now and then. Sometimes we might perhaps look too much into the results. But also, this is a competition after all, so not doing it would be wrong as well.

Though, as I talked about with a friend today, some people are like putting the prediction with what people think. Like "I told you it would fail!!"....when you just said that you like the song. That is not the right way, cause prediction and opinion is not the same thing. For me it is a competition after all, but also, the best part for me is almost prior to the contest, the two months from the songs are revealed until the first semifinal...listen to the songs, singing a long, talking to others about them, predict and enjoy the whole contest as spring emerges. That is why I love Eurovision nowadays! :D

as of now, Iceland is my winner and the one I think will win.
I just hope they won't go too much in the route of "Politics" something that could make them lost votes or being DQ by the EBU for whatever reason. Specially if that cost them the win. The performance itself has a message, say what you think in 2-3 interviews, fine, the rest is not necessary.

Well, nickname does not necessarily reflect your gender. Since I really do not know whom I am talking to, I allowed the possibility he was not. And no, I wasn't throwing shade. You really read too much into my post. Sorry
BorisBubbles - so, if you are gay, I am gay. If you are single, I am single. If you are at least 35 yo, date?

I normally hate this genre of music... but this song is my favourite this year

Quite the opposite for me. I like an industrial song with an intense buildup to a killer chorus. This song has that buildup, but it builds up to a whole world of nothing. It's still a nice song, but I'm a little disappointed.

This song is just so polarising. It's not my kind of song and I don't think I can appreciate the merits of the song. It's basically noise to me. It's a 2 for me.

xdown if this would turn out to be true I would 100% boycott this ESC edition from that decision on. They are entitled to their own opinion, didn't Bilal share the same opinion btw? I mean almost everyone I know (and I have lived in 2 countries) agrees that the Israeli government has been doing terrible stuff and is still doing it! It doesn't mean we all hate everyone in that country and especially the artists... Ban us all than lol! ;)

I think nothing will happen. EBU has changed the rules so that broadcasters can't forbid artists to enter the contest, it was done after everything with Julia Samoylova 2017. The only thing I think will happen is that the EBU will ask RUV for a promise not to make any protests on stage, and I am sure that Icelanders will do that.

I hope Hatari will appear on the stage in TA without any problem at all.

In any case, after hearing all entries this year, I am super happy to announce that Hatari is my number 1 this year. I love this entry beyond the bones. Congratulations, Iceland, you did a splendid job by sending this super song. I will surely vote it in semis and finals. Luv to all.

As if Rammstein and The Prodigy had a baby that was adopted by an Icelandic couple. Let's freaking go, Iceland, 12 points.
