So after going through all entries since we got the full line-up... this just happens to be one of my favs... It's just so out there and completely something unexpected... I didn't really hear anything like this before tbh... it's like Rammstein, Prodigy, some gay electro-Pop group and, lack of a better example so really don't get me wrong here (although it's clear the group is using it as a reference since the song is some sort of statement against hate rhetoric in politics right?), Hitler (or any other screaming maniac hateful demagogue from the history books, although this one comes to mind) had a bastard baby together. If I would use ESC references, an odd mix of Hungary 2018 and Montenegro 2013 comes to mind, and with that said it automatically makes me think of the juries that, if they didn't change their mentality yet, will so downgrade this... let's see if the public who are way more open-minded to fresh and different things will manage to vote enough for them to qualify at least, for sure they will stand out enough to be remembered but is it off-putting or will people like it? That's the question... I for one, who isn't the biggest rock fan even, am oddly attracted to this entry, best Icelandic entry since 2016 and maybe even one of the best Icelandic entries ever tbh...

I like this song and have to admit it grew to #1 for me atm and I like how they stay by what they believe in and are not afraid to state the obvious thing that happened last year

Btw don't take this as a personal attack if you're Israeli pls, I have no problem with regular folk. Just the government I disagree harshly with + the people that excuse/ignore whatever shit they do, which I find equally disgusting.

Oh btw the vid I posted also left out my personal favourite part of their challenge: If Hatari win the wrestling match, Israel must cede some land on the West Bank where Hatari will establish a BDSM colony. i don't know if hatred will prevail in may (hopefully yes) but apparently lack of critical thought WILL prevail sadly

it's mid march and people STILL didn't understand that the song is the protest itself? they are going to tel aviv and literally sing "HATRED WILL PREVAIL AND ALL JOY DERAIL". they don't need to do anything else whatsoever. what else could they even do to protest israel on stage? get naked, wave palestine flags, just say random anti israel shit? all things that they cannot pull off and that will be immediately cut off by ebu? or are hatari under suspicion of being actual terrorists now? do people REALLY think through what they post about this? is it that hard to use the brain? is it????

there is no reason to ban hatari and hopefully they will go to tel aviv, slay amd maybe even do well.

I prepared myself to not like this track because I didn't like their comment targeted at Israel's government as well as their provoking BDSM looks (made me very uncomfortable) but this is such a great and entertaining entry! - I do love to listen to some death/symphonic metal and that's why I love some growls and screams as part of songs and Hatari is really serving them in the verses! - The chorus is cute as well and it's a perfect mix/contrast... however, I don't like the key change very much.
Top 5, for sure.
