YES, finally 2019 has an entry I can fully get behind.

12 points, and one vote on the night for every person trying to compare this to rock/metal entries just because of the vocals.

Actually kinda surprised that I like this  Not a massive fan of the screaming vocals but I do like the rest of it. Hopefully this will put Iceland back on the final

Now I still don't believe they have a hope of winning. This will of course appeal to a certain group of people and guarantee their votes but the same argument was made of Hungary last year and this song is nowhere near as good as "Viszlat Nyar". Top 10 at best because the juries are going to murder this

Still, this is easily the best Icelandic entry in a while :)

You either hate it or love it? Not me xnaughty

The beat goes hard, that's the best thing of the entire song. The screaming is mad corny, could be done way better. Now it just comes accross tryhard, don't mind it that much tho. But what really kills the songs is ... the chorus. They couldn't have made it sound more Eurovisionish lol. And the key change is one of the most cringy things I ever heard. Why did they put it in the song? Urgh. Awful choice imo. I don't know their other material, but it sounds like they took one of their songs and tried to make it as Eurovision accessible as possible.

All in all there is lots of potential wasted here. Now it sounds like a typical weird Eurovision act. SAD! cuz it could've been great.

I like the staging with the guy swinging his hammer or whatever it is, I bet the show will look great in May. So that's a plus.

5 pts and I predict bottom three in semi.

One of the worst things I've ever heard... this is dreadful and I hope it does not qualify.

Now that I have landed after the euphoria, first for Hataris win, then for Conan Osiris one, I can start to think. This is a brave choice Iceland, but also the right one. You had nothing else to select. This song may not qualify either, but this will make an impact, noone will forget this Icelandic entry.

But who knows, weirder things have happened in this contest. And with Iceland having their best results 20 and 10 years ago, who knows if this song could do something special in Tel Aviv. This is like Siliva Night and "Minn Hinsti Dans" from 1997 together in a mixer....two in my opinion awesome Icelandic entries. So this will be for sure very high up in my ranking when all songs are out. Well done Iceland and thank you for bringing something special to Tel Aviv! :D

also why is this being compared to finland 2015? it's not even the same genre or same kind of performance? are people really just this musically sheltered that they lump together everything with an electric guitar? whether you like it or not just don't do this to me lol.

I love how everyone's either loving or hating it  At least it doesn't leave you cold.
For me it's a 8. At first I was put off by the screaming parts but loved chorus, then after a few listen I warmed up to the whole song and end up jumping on the bandwagon.
It will be interesting to see how they'll do in TA.

My favourite Icelandic entry up to this point is Minn Hinsti Dans by Paul Oscar. It didn't set the scoreboard alight, but it shook up the contest and challenged expectations of what a Eurovision song should be. Now that they've actually won the contest, I think and hope Hatari can do the same (Hatrid Mun Sigra's actually similar to MHD in a lot of ways, not least in how unashamedly GAY the presentation is xheart) .

My one criticism is that I can only give it 12 stig.

This is just a very specific taste of music, which won't work with Eurofans and/or at Eurovision.

And 0 points from me.

Seeing their video before the performance made me love them somehow. I hope they wont act so stiffly at the Eurovision Song Contest. I personally would never add this song to my playlist or listen to it in my free time, but I appreciate it, and it obviously is somewhat catchy.
