I really enjoy this, although more in icelandic. I like this song better than Never Forget.

Hey, I still don't even have any 10s! A couple 8s that are coming close, yeah, but no 10s for now.

Hopefully I'll get my first 12 if Ukraine makes the right choice tomorrow, though.

For now I'll give this... a 7, I guess?

I guess I´m in minority here, but I don´t mind.

I´m not feeling this song at all. It didn´t click with me in Icelandic nor do I like it in English. It just doesn´t grab me.

Now for the visual performance: It looks really good and goes well with the song. Reminds me a bit on Mans´s performance, but that´s completely fine. Inspiration is important!

However, since the song doesn´t really grab me, I give it 3 points. (and 12 points for visuals)

Beautiful song, the instrumental part is incredible! I'm a huge fan of Of Monsters And Men and this reminds me of them a lot. Not sure about the version with the English lyrics as it's definetly been made a lot more pop-y I guess and doesn't sound as good to me. But this one is special and will stand out, and the performance is pretty amazing. Especially the shot with the smoke and birds/feathers/whatever. And although I prefer the Icelandic lyrics and version over-all, even with the English lyrics it definetly maintains it's Icelandic magical vibe. This is my number one for now and will probably stay in my Top 10 for the whole season.

What a song, what a performance. GREAT, BUT GREAT DECISION ICELAND. First song I really LOVE this year.

Style over substance. The song does absolutely nothing for me. In fact, I don't think the dark performance even matches the song. It's so poppy and foot-stompy, and then you've got black smoke, bats and whatnot coming from her. How impressive it looks visually to one side, I feel it just doesn't work. I thought at first the song was inoffensive enough, but listening to it back just then, it actually irked me somewhat. I'm getting so tired of this sound now. In fact, never liked it to begin with.

Gave this 4 points, but I think i'm going to change it to 3. At least the other song didn't win. That would have been a 1 most probably.

It has a slight country/folk vibe that I just love. The stage is awesome, and it can only improve. She has a impressive stage presence as well, it's so dramatic but always just until the right point.

I think we have a potential winner.

Seriously though, I don't even know if it's going to be in my Top 10 once we have all the songs but it's a solid effort and certainly a major improvement from last year. One important ingredient at Eurovision is the fact that a song needs to be memorable and this one certainly stands out. Only time will tell if it's going to be good enough but it was by miles the strongest song in this week line-up. Plus I'll get to meet her in Stockholm so I'm really excited about that.
