Great song! I am getting more and more addicted to it, listening some 5-10 times per day ))) My 12 points for Iceland!

After Euroband and Yohanna, Iceland has done it again, one of my personal favorites. I hope for a place in the top 10 in the final. 12 Points:is:xcheer

This is beautiful beyond words! I loved the Icelandic version, but the English one has grown on me. The video is pure art xheart

I know sometimes it could fall to flame bait level having this opinion, but I actually liked it more in English. In Icelandic, it was an OK song, but maybe because of the promo video, but now to me it seems like a real contender! The first time I heard the English version I had goosebumps through the whole song!

Go Iceland!

Heh, Greta deleted both me and alca from her Facebook - we were the ones that made a HUGE persuading campaign for the song to be kept in Icelandic. :p

How very mature....not! :lol::twisted:

Oh well... we paid the price! Now let me cry for a while coz I lost an important friend on facebook! xcryxcryxcry Why couldn't I keep my mouth shut? Why?! xcry

Ok enough with the joking part. Seriously is that how she expects to get fans? She got many minus "points" from me right now. I didn't know if I wanted to post this or not but since Katy did it, I can talk about it. I was thinking not to say anything about it coz I'm not really into "badmouthing" others... But where is she going with such an attitude? As I said to Katy she starts realising that the icelandic was the best option and now she doesn't want us around to say "we told you so"! :lol:
You gotta face it! Icelandic-lovers' arguments VS English-lovers' arguments --> 1-0!

I believe this song will win it all, and here is why. It has good theatrics, and both singers have great voices that mesh well together. The first time I heard this song (in Icelandic), I had goosebumps. The change to English was a lateral change for me, so the song is still great to me, though not as many goosebumps. The fact that it's self-made (by the woman) is a bonus.

The only common with Eldar & Nigar is that they are singing 2 persons.
As a song the german is quite more like the azerbaijani last year.

Our song from Roman sounds similar to Iceland, that`s right. I like the iceland song and hope, they reach the TOP10.

the problem is, that is near the same that Elli&Nikki did last year.....

The similarity is only in that it's a male and a female. The differences are much bigger. Jonsi and Greta can (both) sing, the melody is dramatic with ethnic touches and nothing like Running Scared and the lyrics are much better. Also, the staging (that I imagine will be similar to the Icelandic national final) will be very different, too.
