Lovely video, the best from all that came out. And I was one of those who were shouting for them to keep the song in their language but I must admit it is still great in english. Good Job Iceland!

I'm usually a language taliban, but I must say this sounds pretty amazing in English. Great song!

OMG They killed the song. I thought ok the song will still be great in Icelandic, English or Mandarin Chinese... But it's not the language. The best thing this song had was the drama and mysticness and all of this was spoiled.
Iceland will be my biggest drop, sorry :(

Video above doesn't work, it's on the official YT channel now however (100% confirming the sad news)...

This might (will actually) sound mean but I kinda wish Iceland to do bad this year... Just because they don't listen to the fans! And then I would loooove to say "We told you so!" xshifty

Really..... OK........
I mean what she did was unforgivable, right. But maybe that is what will happen, and what a happy group of former fans you will be then.

I am not a former fan. I still LOVE the icelandic version. But I believe she did a wrong move sending this in english! Especially when the majority wants the icelandic...

Majority of whom? The fans on eurovision sites? So what you are saying is that you are hoping that the people of Europe who will be voting in the semifinals and the finals will hate it because you believe that they will agree with you on this?

I mean you have every right to have your opinion on this, to think that she made a wrong move, don't get me wrong, but I would never hope, that someone will do bad, just so that I could say in the end "I told you so".

Maybe that will be the conclusion of her decision, but I wouldn't be gloating over it....

Actually when I heard the new version yesterday, it didn't feel right, since I'm getting so used to the Icelandic version, but after more listening, I'm very happy with her decision, and that is what most people will think when hearing this for the first time in Europe, since only a tiny fraction of Europe heard the Icelandic version.

I am not telling you to give this a change, but at least move on.

I'm indifferent to the language change. I still think its a great song and its one of my favourites this year.

Hopefully they can qualify to the final!

I like the new version a lil' bit more. I'd gave it 7pts still.
Never cared about languages.

I don't post in any other ESC sites. But I do read the comments on youtube. Something that Great (obviously) didn't do. And I didn't say I hope people will hate it. But I do believe it won't have the same success it would have if it was sung in icelandic. And unfortunately there's no parallel universe to find out.

That was kind of a joke but I will say it if turns bad for Iceland! :p

Oh I will move on. It's just that it's hard to move on that fast when we talk about a song like "Mundu Eftir Mér"! ;)

If the poll for Belarus never got restarted (completely different song), then this one sure as hell won't be.
