I just watched the performances of those who made it through. I really enjoyed Nomad. I think I'll bring out the big L O V E word for them actually cause they were awesome. They've managed a piece of alt rock that's super catchy and accessible, yet still has all the organic elements there. That chorus is an ear worm and it's greatly performed. Me likey.

Konyha I thought were also good. Probably wouldn't work too great at Eurovision but I like the song. Then again, perhaps a softer electronic indie entry like this could surprise? It's quality and catchy. The chorus is stuck in my head now just from two listens. Actually, scratch the "like". I think I love this one too!

Deniz is bless. His was the only song I had already heard in full before watching the performances and I did like it. It's very early 00s Latin influenced pop which makes it highly tolerable for me. I find it cute though which is not usually the mood I want a rap song to be giving me.

The other songs that advanced were ok, but they didn't grab me. Those three above though are enough for me to have interest in this thing now. Very good stuff, particularly Konyha and Nomad.

All the three I love most from last night! Konyha was on my top before last night already, so was Nomad. Before the show, Deniz was on my 5th place and made it to my No. 1. The pnly entry I liked and didn't make it was Rozina Pátkai. But her performance was unfortunately rather underwhelming. But I am pleased about the outcome.

I really wish A Dal would announce ahead of time which songs are going to be in which heat. I need to know when to book my reservation at the La Mama Hotel!

None of Sat's qualifiers will be the overall winner but Kedves Vilag! and Madar, repulj! were my faves so exclamations ftw?

I am wondering about how will the jury react to USNK, because that can decide the whole contest. This is the most popular entry ever at A Dal if we look at the pre-contest numbers. It will easily win the televote if it ends up in the Top4, so it just depends on if the jury is ready to send USNK to ESC or not.

I hope not. I find this song rather boring. But as I know my luck, Hungary will send a song I don't like.

I should like USNK but am undecided at this point. I don't like how it sounds like a random freestyle, the chorus has potential tho.

Imo needs a revamp, but let's wait for live performance to make up my mind. Don't think the jury will vote for it tbh.

USNK will get sabotaged in the final the same way the other chart monsters with no prospect of doing super well at Eurovision did (HoneyBeast, Soulwave, Tamas Horvath etc.)

The biggest improve for me, is definitely Orsovai Reni right now. She was the lead singer in the formation Nene last year, and she was very nervous, so she messed up the whole song. Now, next to Deniz, she heated up the stage with an amazing clear and unique voice. Listen the difference between the last year and this year.
