I think it's a rather terrible song with no proper melody and his voice is awful here.

Agreed. I didn't like "Running," and I lasted about 30 seconds with this new one, which combines the austere and slow R&B of today with anthemic pretty-boy pop rock, two sounds I really don't like individually, let alone put together.

Saunders and his band are gonna get the ticket to Stockholm, their song is much better than the rest in the preselection (which is pretty week in my opinion).

OMG I'm so glad Passed are back, I hope this time they'll win even though Mesmerize was better than Driftin'. I also really like Trouble In My Mind from Petruska.

Yeah, hope Kallay Saunders Band win the Hungarian selection. It's a better song than the one he came 5th with 2 years ago so....

I hope Kallay Saunders Band will fail to win A Dal 2016!

I love Gergo Olah, Mohamed Fatima and Parno Grazst, I'd love some of these three to win! :)

Re: HUNGARY 2016

I didn't get behind "Running" at all in 2014... Still don't really like it. But "Who We Are" is truly an Eurovision Top 3 song in my eyes (if not even something I'd see winning :?). What amazing quality. Just a complete package... And it goes all out. The more I listen to it the more in love with it and amazed I am. Although the vocals are indeed a big part of it, so I wonder how that will go down. And any song that has "shining bright" in it leaves me kind of icky and bitter automatically, but that's my only complaint. Top 40 best of the best magic, really better than that. Reminds me of "Heroes" a bit with the theme and chorus and all, but eh. To not send this would be a huge missed opportunity for Hungary (although I still stand behind "Pioneer" and "Hold On To" as well).. xheat

Re: HUNGARY 2016

Just listened to all songs and at first glance I'd say only Passed and Kallay Saunders deserve to qualify. Maybe only Karmapolis. Others are pretty meh, selection was way better last year with at least 7 songs that made it into my playlist. 30 seconds are sufficient to get an idea of the sound.

I don't get the fuss with Kállay. I'd really love to see him back in ESC, but not with this song. It would be such a disappointment after wonderful "Running". Freddie is the obvious winner for me (and he looks hotter than Kállay ;))
Anyway, good selection. A Dal is growing every year. I think almost half of the songs could do kinda well in Eurovision.

Gergo Olah has STUNNING entry!! :) xlove xheart
It MESMERIZED me completely!! xbow
Potentionaly it can be my fave in the whole ESC if wins A Dal by any chances, but I hope live vocals are strong enough!

I tried to give a try to translate, honest to goodness, but then I met two mixed metaphors in the very first line that I found too embarrassing to interpret (and the rest of the lyrics isn't any better). Sorry. :D Nevertheless, the title means " the good wins".

Re: HUNGARY 2016

By the way: instead of the 5 weeks of prelims & semis, maybe MTVA should rather have given KSB and Freddie time to shoot video for their entries and moved on immediately to the televoting between these 2. I don't think any of the 28 others stand any chance of winning against them.

Re: HUNGARY 2016

A bit disappointed from Hungary this year, especially after how great A Dal was last year (despite the not-so-great winner).
The songs which stood out the most to me were KSB (duh), Oliver Berkes, Passed, Laci Gaspar and By The Way. Freddie's song is good, but it really doesn't have that wow factor for me.
Ív was my favourite last year, but her song this year is a little underwhelming. Love Kills Me doesn't really have much going for it in my opinion, I much preferred Fire. Good luck Hungary, hope you manage to qualify...
