Re: HUNGARY 2016

Why doesn't she use her complete name Renata instead of the diminutive Reni? In Italian "reni" means "kidneys"... Renata sounds so much better.

This is not the first time she takes part at A Dal, she already took part few years ago and under her real name, Renata, its just common nick and that is her nick, thats why she uses it now..

OMFG Olah Gergo - "Gyoz a jo" is freakin'awesome snippet, its mix of Arabian And Hungarian traditional music, I want so bad to listen to the whole entry..

:) this genre is described as "roma soul"

Mrm who is the lead singer with Egy Másik Zenekar is it Knoll Gabi?

She is Lili Péterfy (6th in the X Faktor 4)

Gianlucyyyyyy xlove :D
Her official name is Reni Tolvai since like 2012.

Re: HUNGARY 2016

I just read that Misztral was disqualified..? It's always a pity to see entries diqualified :/
However, I'm very, very fond of Viki Singh's song which I believe to be much better than the one by Misztral! Such a pretty little thing :D

WOW I just looked at the A Dal participants this year and found out that AKS will return! xfaint (I know I'm a little late with that...) I didn't really like his song in 2014 but now his entry just blew me away! x12s Absolutely my taste of music! This year is so exciting - so many artists may return to Eurovision! xheya

Freddie is also okay but not as strong as the KS Band!

An interesting fact that Freddie and the Kállay Saunders Band (and also Gáspár Laci, Singh Viki and Tolvai Reni) have the same label. Kállay Saunders was also the co-composer of Freddie's most famous song, Mary Joe.

Unlike the last few years there is an obvious winner here. Kallay Saunders Band. Their songs stands well above the rest. It's the best song I've heard in any selection so far.

I think it's a rather terrible song with no proper melody and his voice is awful here. I'm going with Seven Seas, but overall haven't been that impressed with this year's selection.

The ones that caught my ear positively by purely first listen just now ... Freddie, Karmapolis & Szécsi Böbe xlove, Kallay-Saunders Band, Andi Tóth & Olivér Berkes (& honorable mentions Mushu, Parno Grazt, Passed). I'll try to do a full list once I listen more. :) Although I'd say there are less than 15 songs that I'll at least somewhat like and seems like the first 4 I mentioned are the only ones perfect and interesting enough that I'd like to see win.

I guess you'll be saddened when it wins the selection by a country mile.

This xheat

I'm in love on first listen. It's so infectious and fun and fresh while also sounding timeless. Also love how they can't quite decide on a tempo for the song so they move between 7. Parno Graszt for the win!
