Overall I'm happy Tolvai Renáta and ByTheWay managed to qualify. :) The other qualifiers were predictable.

How is it possible to eliminate 4 female singers?! Insane.

Yeah, it's predictable also for me, but instead of Egy Másik Zenekar I thought Odett as a qualifier. Freddie took the show, and I think the whole performance will improve till the final. I agree with the 42 points, and I think it would be a 48+ in the final.

Please let Freddie win...his voice reminds me of :hu: 1995 and 1998 which are still my top 2 hungarian entries

Love Freddie's song xheartxlove very inspirational and got me the first time I listen to it. And it screams WINNER to me
I hope he ends up representing Hungary in Stockholm.
Also his raspy voice reminds me a lot of Vaclav from Czech Republic 2015

I'm not seeing it. I can't understand 90% of what he's saying and he sounds like his throat is full of dust and moths.

I agree. And the song is not interesting at all, just a generic pop song.

My favorites yesterday were By The Way, Mushu and Tolavi Reni and I´m happy they all qualified for the semis. Especially "Free to Fly" is a great song.

Re: HUNGARY 2016

Hm I do love Mushu... And I can see they've gained a pretty nice amount of popularity since they were announced. :D The vocals sound kind of alt-j-ish to me and that put me off at first because dam I love alt-j and I was unsure over-all, but now I'm digging this one a lot.

But I find "Seven Seas" to be pretty underrated, "Hold On To" to be pure delicious quality (fell in love at first listen and I low-key wish it would win), Freddie to be one of the better ones for sure and I also still think that "Who We Are" by Kallay-Saunders band is an Eurovision-winning song, I'm also awfully charmed by Parno Graszt and "Driftin" sounds amazing in headphones. :p Tbh this is definetly my fave selection of this season so far. Lots of variety, whilst staying authentic, interesting, enjoyable and full of quality.

"Pioneer" is the best song of any of the NFs so far. It's a shame the live performance is a little disappointing although if he wins, he should have time to improve on that. It's a very, very strong song and would place very high for Hungary in Stockholm.

Yeah I agree. Very bland and the thing is that I find her vocals really shakey. No contender for the win for sure. :?
