I really dislike this man for the few things I read about him and some stuff happening in Hungary right now, but:

1- Mister Orban wouldn't organize the show himself in case Hungary wins, would he???

2- I'm sure most Europeans don't even know who Orban is and which party won the elections in Hungary.

3- This is a SONG contest. Europeans didn't vote for Angela Merkel in 2010, they voted for Lena, and they didn't vote for that pretty Danish prime minister last year, they voted for Emmelie.

That basically sums it up.

Personally I have never heard of that Orban dude until brought up in here. I believe people put way too much thought into the political aspect of things especially when it comes to what is perceived as a minor event abroad.

In my opinion, Silent Storm is the best song this year if we're talking composition/lyrics...but Running has the best performer. I remember when I had heard Running (before watching it live) I had found it an ok song, I wasn't blown away or anything...but when I saw Andras on stage...wow...he is amazing...great vocals and a very camera-friendly face!

I liked their 2005 entry, but it sounded like a medley of all the songs of Ruslana from her folk album released in 2003. I think they flopped because they participated too soon after Ukraine's victory with the exact style of song.

Hungary is one of the favourites to win this year.
In a year with no obvious winner, the performance of the nigh will be of great importance. Andras seem like a VERY able singer and performer. With a nice performance and show I think Hungary can do very well.

Both were high, IMO.

In 2005 they ended the 12th and in 2007 the 9th (and the 2sd in the semi final). The latter one is still second the best result of Hungary. I think many countries can dream about such results.

No i am not.
I think his voice is not strong,and he can not convince televoters.
Basically this is a major problem for Hungary.From the time they came back,
they have quality pop music (2011,2012,2013,2014) but ALL the performers (2011,2012,2013,2014) are not very strong.
