Eurovision is still extremely popular in Greece so they do it for the money and the sponsors and the advertisements during the show.

I don't see why Greece should withdraw. Actually, Eurovision will lose a lot of viewers if Greece does that.

Here in Greece no one cares actually at this point, but in May everybody watch the show.

It was discussed in ERT's last meeting. It was decided that you will have a NF.

I don't care if they win, I just want a great song and a nice performance on stage. I want something lively and happy from them, because I always loved the Greek entries. OPA!

An internal choice is a chance to get a decent representative and a decent song (if it will be internal choice indeed). Why ruin it with selecting internally a singer like Foureira?
I know Eleonora Zouganeli is not interested in Eurovision but I still want her to represent Greece. Or maybe she just didn't want to compete in a NF?

Okay for some reason I always had the weird feeling that Greece might not make the final this year (and it has nothing to do with me being Macedonian) and today I read this.
Anyway since the source is unreliable and it's just a feeling I do genuinely hope Greece sends a good song this year despite my guts telling me otherwise.
