Keeping my fingers crossed for Greece this year. I am in desperate need of a song I can love in this 2014 edition. At least a song that I can reward a 10.... is that too much to ask for??

After listening to them 1 time each, they all have their pluses and minuses. I wouldn't be too upset if any one of them won though. They are all pretty different than anything we have sent the last few years. Let's see how they are presented live. I am sure until the NF, my opinions will change with more listens! ;)

Standard has come down a bit since last year, hasn't it? I like Kostas Martakis (he's sort of this year's Aggeliki xcheer) and I moderately like the violins' song. I'd definitely ditch the yourbody'sclosetomine/starscollide/magicalfeeling/losecontrol/baby dirge though.

OMG this could easily be the worst Greek selection ever :?

It's clear for me. Freaky Furtune must go to Copenhagen. Nothing exceptional, but "Rise up" is soooo above the rest. 2011 vibes but with a dance song. If only they could get rid of the rap....

Kostas' song is terrible and doesn't suit him AT ALL :?

Kristallia's song reminds me to "Dancing in the rain", a song where nothing happens and is used just to show vocal skills.

"Dancing night" is simply MEH.

Rise up sounds good because of studio sound devices. I wonder what his voice will sound like live...

Oh god oh god oh god xheat

1. Kostas - no doubt, the great and wonderful Koza Mostra didn't let me down, i LOVE this song. Kostas looks surprisingly well in this genre.
2. Crystallia - she's got the voice, she sings in greek, there are ethnic instruments. Sold.
3. Freaky Fortune - they just had to fucking ruin the whole beautiful ethnic thing at the beginning with these dance beat farts. Shame on you.
4. Josephine - this is so horrible i don't even wanna talk about it. Another silly song we've heard a million times before, would be ok for place 7-8 in a MF semi. Go home!

Had totally forgotten Kostas Martakis' song was Koza Mostra's and was actually quite surprised it sounded so good, as everything I knew from him, Kostas, was pretty dire stuff.
Explained ;)

Crystal Carrington sounds good, with a nice ethno vibe that Greece does so well. However I think rise up will get the ticket as that instrumental section has a great hook, same way as Papa Americano, though not as good.

Crystallia - This is the best the NF, by far, I love the violins and her voice is impeccable and despite the fact that I see where ParadiseES is coming from this does it for me. I really, really enjoy it. Not to mention that the Greek language is so beautiful especially when it's sung in a ballad.

Freaky Fortune - The first 20 seconds were great then that weird little rap thing at the start made me start to dislike it but then the lead took over and from that moment it started growing on me. I even enjoyed the rapping verse later on in the song.

Mark Angelo ft Josephine - I do like this, it is not a Eurovision song though. I am very weary of the live performance though because I feel as if she will perform horribly like Hannah Mancini last year.

Kostas - Hmm, I reallt dislike this, it starts off as a 0/10 and it never ends up going anywhere. And I have a HUGE problem with how the song ends!! I feel like it tries to build up but fails miserably

Crystallia and Freaky Fortune are the best and I am behind either of them going to Copenhagen

It is a bit annoying that the violins abruptly cut off the first chorus in Kristallia's song. I feels like the first chorus should be longer or at least have better closure like it is in the last half of the song.

I don't understand what people see in Freaky Fortune's song, the only thing I like about it is the beginning, after that, I can't stand to listen to it much longer... In my opinion easily the worst song out of the 4

I think either Kostas or Crystallia should win this.

My ranking:
1. Martakis - It's the most rythmic one and with a good show, it's a top 10.
2. Krystallia - Without the violins, it's just an old-fashioned Greek song. She could have done better.
3. Frisky Fortune - It's ok for its genre, I just don't like this style of music.
4. Mark Angelo and Josephine - I like this the least. Very typical and boring for me, like all summer hits.

Throughout the whole song, I can imagine Ilias Kozas singing this instead. I think it would suit a grittier voice better.
