Greece to me is a mine of great artists and pure talent. There are of course some commercial products like Martakis, Foureira, or Eleftheriou, but luckily they seem to be in minority.

Martakis is the favorite going into this because he is most popular out of all the acts, and his song style is supposed to be very "friendly" to Greek ESC fans. Saying that, if we have learned anything, it is that anything can happen. I think it will come down to the songs and performance on the NF night. People won't care who is more popular. Everyone thought Christos Dantis was going to win in 2007 because he was most popular, and Sarbel ended up winning.

That being said, those who are saying Martakis is hated and no one will vote for him need to get a clue. It could be argued that Kalomira was equally hated, and look what happened there. Looking back, it is hard to deny for anyone that she had the best song and show of the three acts during the NF in 2008.

Also about Paparizou maybe being at the NF: It has to do with the outcome of the Swedish selection....
